  • Patent number: 6852034
Abstract: A game production is effected by utilization of a ringing melody registered in a portable terminal apparatus. With reference to a fruit image table (152), a processing section (110) fetches a fruit image corresponding to a ringing melody number assigned to a ringing melody which has been selected previously in accordance with an instruction. The thus-fetched fruit image is provided within a background image (1200) in a step (S1406). Accordingly, the processing section (110) displays the fruit corresponding to the selected ringing melody within a game screen. A production of an image can be controlled in accordance with the selected ringing melody.

  • Patent number: 6632137
Abstract: A portable game machine electronically executes target games and has an input unit, a game processing unit, and a display unit in a housing. A plurality of targets to be hit are displayed on the display unit. First pitching data concerning the vertical displacement of a ball and second pitching data concerning the horizontal displacement of a ball are successively input by a game player through operation keys provided for the input unit. By using the information of the first pitching data and the second pitching data, the game processing unit determines whether the ball has hit one of the targets. Based on the determination result, an image of the target after the ball has been thrown is displayed on the display unit.

  • Patent number: 6620042
Abstract: A portable game machine electronically executes target games and has an input unit, a game processing unit, and a display unit in a housing. A plurality of targets to be hit are displayed on the display unit. First kicking data concerning an X coordinate when a ball reaches one of the targets and second kicking data concerning a Y coordinate when the ball reaches one of the targets are successively input by the game player through one of the operation keys provided for the input unit. By using the information of the first kicking data and the second kicking data, the game processing unit determines whether the ball hits one of the targets defined by the X coordinate and the Y coordinate. Based on the determination result, an image of the target after the ball has been kicked is displayed on the display unit.

  • Publication number: 20020016205
Abstract: First stage mastery information is for mastering a first stage of a game. Similarly, second stage mastery information is for mastering a second stage of the game. Further, the nth stage mastery information is for mastering the nth stage of the game. In relation to mastery status flags, when only the first stage flag assumes “1,” a game mastery support apparatus detects that the first stage has already been mastered, and distributes second stage mastery information (“b”).

  • Patent number: 6325715
Abstract: A portable game machine has a game-processing unit accommodated in a housing. The game-processing unit displays, on a display, at least the image of a sub-block to be struck among a plurality of stacked sub-blocks and a main-block thereon. The game-processing unit also uses, among first strike data and second strike data sequentially input from an input unit by a game player, the first strike data as information for determining a virtual displacement of a sub-block positioned at a predetermined stage among the plurality of sub-blocks, and the second strike data as a displacement of the sub-block within the virtual displacement, and determines the displacement of the sub-block based on the second strike in the game-processing unit. The game-processing unit displays, on the display, a resultant image corresponding to the state of each of the blocks which changes based on the determination result.
