  • Patent number: 5991597
Abstract: A converter for a satellite signal receiving antenna, comprising a input terminal for inputting a signal in a frequency band other than the output frequency band of the IF signal converted from the satellite signal, and where the IF signal and signal from the input terminal are mixed by a mixing circuit, and output through a coaxial cable from the IF output terminal.

  • Patent number: 4794458
Abstract: A modulation device especially suitable for use in a joint TV reception device for tuning the input video and audio signals to various TV channel frequencies. The device includes a modulator for modulating a carrier wave with the video and audio signals to provide a modulated signal, a mixer for mixing the modulated signal with a local oscillation signal to provide mixed signals, a wide band amplifier for amplifying the mixed signals and a variable low-pass filter for filtering the amplified mixed signals to provide a TV broadcasting signal of desired frequency. The device further includes a control device for controlling the frequency of the local oscillation signal and the cutoff frequency of the variable low-pass filter so as to cancel a higher harmonic component from the output signal to avoid undesirable inteference.

  • Patent number: 4542300
Abstract: An improved high frequency signal changeover switch is provided for use especially as a horizontal-vertical selection switch in an artificial satellite broadcast receiving system for the purpose of selectively delivering either vertical or horizontal polarization signals received at its two inputs, respectively, from its single output. This inventive switch has such a significant feature over the prior art switches in that no mismatch occurs among all of these terminals.

  • Patent number: 4509198
Abstract: A satellite broadcast signal receiving system for receiving a plurality of signals of individual transmission bands, which are mutually different in frequency and/or polarization angle, transmitted through an artificial satellite, wherein the signals picked up by an antenna or antennas are first applied to a plurality of outdoor units each corresponding to one transmission band and comprising a convertor for converting the incoming signal into an IF signal, and the converted IF signals are then applied through a change-over switch to a common indoor unit including a demodulator to be demodulated for application to a conventional television set or the like.
