    Abstract: An integrated circuit includes receiving circuitry and transmitting circuitry. The receiving circuitry, in operation, controls reception of a downlink control information on one or more consecutive control channel elements (CCEs) in a search space, and controls reception of downlink data on a downlink resource that is indicated by the downlink control information, the search space being comprised of a plurality of CCEs that includes the one or more consecutive CCEs, and the plurality of CCEs starting on a CCE that is determined from both a number of the one or more consecutive CCEs, and a total number of CCEs configured in a subframe. The transmitting circuitry, in operation, controls transmission of uplink control information on an uplink resource, which is associated with a CCE index of a first CCE of the one or more consecutive CCEs.

A terminal, which uses a plurality of different layers to transmit two code words in which control information is placed, comprises: a resource amount determining unit that determines, based on a lower one of the encoding rates of the two code words or based on the average value of the reciprocals of the encoding rates of the two code words, resource amounts of control information in the respective ones of the plurality of layers; and a transport signal forming unit that places, in the two code words, the control information modulated by use of the resource amounts, thereby forming a transport signal.

    Abstract: Provided are a base station, whereby the erroneous detection of control information can be reduced, thereby preventing the degradation of the system throughput. A base station maps a downstream allocation control information unit, which is addressed to a terminal, to a first resource region, which can be used for any of a downstream control channel region and a downstream data channel region, or to a second resource region, which can be used only for the downstream control channel, so as to transmit the downstream allocation control information unit. In the base station, a control unit establishes a scale of the PDCCH region, and a transmission region establishing unit establishes, on the basis of a scale value established by the control unit, a mapping region to which the DCI is mapped within the R-PDCCH region and the PDCCH region.

A control unit allocates uplink resource allocation information and downlink resource allocation information to a PDCCH which is arranged in each of the plurality of downlink unit bands, and allocates a response signal to the uplink line data to a PHICH which is arranged in the same number of downlink unit bands from the plurality of downlink unit bands as there are uplink unit bands. A transmit RF unit transmits the resource allocation information or the response signal.

The data restoration module discards header data from a first position, in absence of the character string at the first position, and restores default data in the default data storage module instead of the discarded header data.     Abstract: A video recording and playback equipment which plays video data of a program memorized in an MXF file without playback delay is provided. It has a receiver, an analyzer, a playback information table, a program data memory and a decoder. The receiver receives the MXF file which includes the video data and metadata including information about an identification tag to identify the video data and data size of the video data. The analyzer judges whether the data contained in the file is the video data. If it is the video data, the analyzer analyzes a memory location where the video data is memorized in the file and memorize it on the playback information table as playback information, and also memorize the file to the program data memory. Only the video data is played by the decoder from the file based on the playback information.

The apparatus determines whether the description format for each of the extracted candidates matches the description format for the sender area stored in the database. If the description format for the candidate is determined to match the description format for the sender area, the candidate is prohibited from being recognized as the addressee area.
