    Abstract: A one-piece intraocular lens having an optic portion and a haptic portion, the optic portion being formed of a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of predetermined amounts of 2-[2-(perfluorooctyl)ethoxy]-1-methylethyl (meth)acrylate, 2-phenylethyl (meth)acrylate, alkyl (meth)acrylate and a crosslinking monomer, the haptic portion being formed of polymethyl methacrylate, a process for the production thereof, and a soft intraocular lens having an optic portion and a haptic portion formed of a soft material, the haptic portion having a bendable portion having specific functions, the one-piece intraocular lens being insertable into an eye through a small incision with the optic portion being bent, the soft intraocular lens permitting the prevention of the deformation of the soft optic portion caused by the shrink of a capsule when the soft intraocular lens is inserted into an eye.
