  • Publication number: 20080123103
Abstract: The present invention provides a three-dimensional shape measurement method and a three-dimensional shape measurement apparatus. Color luminance data I (x, y) is separated by an arithmetic processing unit into R, G and B which are color components of a color image. Then, maximum amplitude values are calculated, and the maximum values are composed to obtain an in-focus color omnifocal image. Further, a Z-position corresponding to the maximum amplitude value in an interferogram is calculated in at least one color component, and this processing is performed for all pixels (x, y) to calculate height information for a sample. The height information is provided to the color omnifocal image, such that the three-dimensional shape of the sample can be measured.

  • Patent number: 7345567
Abstract: Variation in inductance and leakage inductance between the secondary windings is reduced thereby making lamp currents uniform and thus preventing the occurrence of uneven brightness. A two-output inverter transformer comprises a bobbin having a primary winding wound around the middle and secondary windings wound on both sides thereof and having a pole-like core inserted into its winding shaft. A rectangle frame-like core is placed to surround the primary and secondary windings such that the pole-like core is opposite the rectangle frame-like core with a gap sheet interposed at either end. Their sizes are set such that L2?L1>2 t, where L1 is the length of the rectangle frame-like core, L2 is the length of the pole-like core, and t is the thickness of the gap sheet, and they are so combined that the pole-like core protrudes evenly from the opposite ends of the rectangle frame-like core.

  • Publication number: 20070253053
Abstract: A polarization stabilizing device and method based on controlling the phase retardations of a pair of variable rotators with an optically interposed quarter-wave plate, with a controller such that the first of the variable rotators has its phase retardation switched between first and second values whenever the phase retardation of the second of the variable rotators reaches an upper or a lower limit. The upper and lower limits of the second rotator and the first and second values of the first rotator are chosen so that discontinuities in the power of the output optical radiation are avoided when the first variable rotator is switched, thereby providing endless polarization stabilization using rotators that themselves may have limited retardation ranges.

  • Publication number: 20070127917
Abstract: The present invention suppresses an increase of processing time caused by the expansion of network scale, and decreases the probability of occurrence of blocking by reserving optical paths based on the distributed control method, and decreases time to complete the reservation of optical paths. When an optical path is set from a start point node device to an end point node device via a relay node device, a reserve packet receive step, destination node setting step, transmission possibility judgment step, reserve packet update step, and reserve packet transmission step are executed.

  • Publication number: 20070030521
Abstract: In a watermarked document printing apparatus, secret information is divided, error correction encoding is performed to each divided pieces of information, and the secret information is converted into a pattern image and embedded in paper. In a watermarked document reading apparatus, after extracting signals from the pattern image on the paper, a reading error is detected by decoding the error correction code for each divided pieces of information, and the portion where the reading error exists is read again. The scanning process is performed again only to the portion where the decoding cannot be performed due to the temporal malfunction of the scanner or the like. Therefore, the pattern image can efficiently be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6930115
Abstract: When used concurrently with an antitumor agent, a compound having a Rho kinase inhibitory activity, such as (R)-(+)-N-(4-pyridyl)-4-(1-aminoethyl)benzamide, reinforces an antitumor effect of the antitumor agent and is useful as an antitumor effect potentiator. Particularly, a compound having a Rho kinase inhibitory activity used with an antitumor agent in combination can reduce the dose of the antitumor agent, which in turn affords provision of a sufficient effect and/or reduction of side effects.

  • Patent number: 5776488
Abstract: A liposome preparation comprising a water-soluble 2'-deoxy-2'methylidenecytidine compound encapsulated therein and a compound which positively charges the surface of lipid membrane. This liposome preparation is not only expected to decrease toxicity to myeloid tissue, which is caused by a water-soluble 2'-deoxycytidine compound having anti-malignant tumor activity, but also expected to accumulate the active ingredient in tumor tissues by virtue of an improved residence thereof in blood. Therefore, the preparation can maintain or enhance anti-tumor effects without causing side effects, and is useful for the treatment of malignant tumors.
