    Abstract: An outboard motor having a charge forming system including an enrichment fuel device that supplies additional fuel and air to the engine for starting and warm up. The fuel and air are supplied from one charge former of the engine and are delivered to a balance passage of a spacer between the charge formers and the intake manifold. The additional air supplied by the enrichment device is drawn from an air circuit of the carburetor so as to reduce the discharge pressure of the fuel discharge circuits of the carburetor to draw additional enrichment fuel from those discharge circuits when the enrichment device is in operation.
