  • Publication number: 20010024068
Abstract: To provide a rotor magnet which is small-sized and provided with high magnetic energy, a rotor magnet 1 adopts a bonded magnet constituted by forming an SmFeN magnetic powder bonded by a binder such as a polyamide, the SmFeN magnetic powder is provided with a size of about {fraction (1/10)} of an NdFeB magnetic powder and therefore, a density of the magnetic powder in a magnet can be made uniform and dense and accordingly, there is no dispersion of poles when a number of poles are magnetized and a rotor can be downsized since maximum energy product of the magnet is higher than that of an SmCo series magnet.

  • Patent number: 6216056
Abstract: With an operation handle arranged in the neighborhood of e.g. a microscope for operation as an appliance to be supported attached to the tip of plural arms rotatably coupled with one another, the operation force applied to the operation handle is detected as a signal in directions of plural axes by a force/torque sensor, the detected force/torque information in each of the directions of the plural axes is impedance-control and track-control to compute an operation command for each joint in the plural arms, and on the basis of the operation command for each joint, the plural arms are moved in the direction of the operation force.

  • Patent number: 5983999
Abstract: A laminated heat exchanger including an inlet header having refrigerant passages therein through which a refrigerant to be cooled is fed, an outlet header having refrigerant passages therein through which the cooled refrigerant is discharged, a radiating laminated structure located between the inlet header and the outlet header, the radiating laminated structure being formed by alternately arranging a plurality of refrigerant tubes and fins in layers, each of the refrigerant tubes having a tank section for storing a refrigerant and a passage section in which the refrigerant stored in the tank section is circulated, and a distributing member located in at least one of the refrigerant passages of the inlet header and the outlet header and used to regulate a flow of the refrigerant in the tank section.

  • Patent number: 5896137
Abstract: An average calculating section calculates an average of nine pixel values of each pixel block. With an assumption that the average value is expressed by 9 bits as a.sub.1 a.sub.2 a.sub.3 a.sub.4 a.sub.5 a.sub.6 a.sub.7 a.sub.8 a.sub.9 (a.sub.k : 1-bit value), a data allocating section allocates the respective bits a.sub.1 -a.sub.9 to 3.times.3 bits of each memory block of a two-value data storing section. After the nine bits a.sub.1 -a.sub.9 are read out from the two-value data storing section, a data reconstructing section combines those nine bits into the original average value, and repeatedly copies the average value to form a 3.times.3 pixel block.

  • Patent number: 5679988
Abstract: A rocking motor comprises a coil wound around a hollow coil bobbin. A rotor is rotatably mounted at a position close to an end portion of the coil bobbin. The rotor has a center shaft and a permanent magnet and is magnetized with two poles such that the positions of the poles are located close to the coil and the magnetization angle is greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees. The positions of the poles of the rotor and the coil are adjacent to one another so that a rotary torque can be efficiently obtained by a magnetic force generated by the coil. The rocking motor can generate a high power output with a relatively low power supply and its operational performance is not adversely affected by an external magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 5603607
Abstract: The present invention provides a propeller fan having a blade trailing edge of a sawtooth shape, in which the flows on the negative pressure side and the pressure side of a blade join gradually, so that the velocity loss is decreased in the vicinity of the trailing edge. As a result, the velocity gradient decreases and the generation of turbulence is reduced as compared with the conventional propeller fan, so that the noise is reduced and the fan efficiency is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 5443116
Abstract: The stacked heat exchanger of the present invention has a structure wherein grooves are brazed together to seal the external surface of the coolant passage, further grooves are brazed together to form a partition between the straight incoming and outgoing flow passages, and least one groove in the straight incoming and outgoing flow passage section which groove runs in parallel with the grooves earlier mentioned is formed on the formed plates. With this structure, drain water flows down promptly through these grooves and the splashing of the drain water into the downstream area of the heat exchanger can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 4839742
Abstract: A printing apparatus comprising a keyboard which inputs characters, symbols, etc., to the apparatus and a display which displays the input characters, symbols, etc. A CPU supplies to a printing head dot pattern information in accordance with the information on the input character, symbols, etc., stored in a main memory. It also inverts the dot pattern information upside down, as needed. The printing head may print onto a lettering tape.

  • Patent number: 3949374
Abstract: A read-out signal generator supplies read-out signals through a read-out bus bar to sources of first data signals and buffer memories storing second data signals produced by accompanying central processing units (CPU's) to make the read-out bus bar transmit also the first and second data signals in timed relation to the read-out signals. A coupling device supplies read-in signals with reference to the read-out signals and transfers the first and second data signals from the read-out bus bar to a read-in bus bar, which supplies the transferred data signals to the CPU's in predetermined time relation to the read-in signals. The coupling device may either be a mere connection (in which case the read-out signals serve as the read-in signals) or a data bank.
