  • Patent number: 7357651
Abstract: A single pole female connector has: a mounting base portion in which is formed a terminal insertion hole into which a male terminal can be inserted; an extending portion extending outwardly from the mounting base portion; and a terminal contacting portion which extends from a peripheral edge of the mounting base portion in a direction substantially orthogonal to a plate portion, and which is formed so as to be able to nip the male terminal. The extending portion is electrically connected by being reflow soldered to a land at a reverse surface of the substrate. It is difficult for cream solder to enter into a male terminal insertion path at an inner side of the female connector.

  • Publication number: 20070257355
Abstract: In the vicinity of soldering through holes of lands for soldering a lead terminal in a multilayer printed board, electrically isolated lands are provided to form a thermal through hole. In the soldering, by the radiation and supply of heat of a lead-free solder filled in the thermal through hole, it is possible to suppress the radiation of heat of the soldering through hole. Thus, it is possible to achieve a sufficient solder rise and to obtain an excellent soldering property.

  • Publication number: 20070205251
Abstract: A through hole is formed in a printed board. Conductor patterns are formed on an upper face and a lower face of the printed board in such a manner that the conductor patterns are electrically connected to each other, by means of a through hole solder. A lead terminal of an electronic component is inserted into the through hole and soldered with a lead free solder. According to this invention, an area of an opening of the through hole is set to be four times or more as large as a cross sectional area of the lead terminal. In this manner, heat conduction on occasion of soldering can be enhanced, and the soldering can be favorably performed, even when the lead free solder having a high melting point is used.
