  • Publication number: 20230369688
Abstract: A solid-state battery includes a solid-state battery body and a coating film. The solid-state battery body has an electrolyte layer containing a solid electrolyte, a positive electrode layer formed on a part of a first principal plane of the electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode layer formed on a part of a second principal plane of the electrolyte layer opposite to the first principal plane. The coating film has an insulating property and covers the solid-state battery body so as to expose a first portion of the positive electrode layer and a second portion of the negative electrode layer. The coating film has hardness higher than that of solid electrolytes contained in the solid-state battery body.

  • Publication number: 20220344633
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a solid-state battery includes forming an electrode that includes a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer facing the first electrode layer and that further includes a buried layer interposed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer so as to surround a contact portion where these electrode layers contact each other. For the buried layer, a solid electrolyte with lower electron conductivity than an electrode active material is used, for example. The buried layer is provided between the edge portion of the first electrode layer and the edge portion of the second electrode layer, so that deformation of the first electrode layer and second electrode layer is prevented in the subsequent lamination and thermocompression bonding and thus the occurrence of a short circuit due to such deformation is prevented in the solid-state battery.

  • Publication number: 20210394749
Abstract: An automotive arithmetic device includes circuitry that calculates a first candidate route based on a vehicle external environment estimated using deep learning; sets a static safe area (SA2) based on a result of recognition of a target object outside a vehicle according to a predetermined rule; and determines a target motion of the motor vehicle. The circuitry selects the first candidate route as a travel route of the motor vehicle under a condition the first candidate route is entirely within the static safe area (SA2), and does not select the first candidate route as the travel route of the motor vehicle when the first candidate route at least partially deviates from the static safe area (SA2).

Acoustic paths in which air serves as a medium are formed by the ultrasonic wave generator and the and extend from the piezoelectric vibrators to the ultrasonic wave emission holes. Resonance of air is generated in the acoustic paths by ultrasonic waves generated by the piezoelectric vibrators in which the ultrasonic wave emission holes are open ends of the resonance. The piezoelectric vibrators are driven at a driving frequency at which the temperature-sound pressure characteristic for the resonance of air and the temperature-amplitude characteristic at the driving frequency of the piezoelectric vibrators have opposite tendencies.

  • Patent number: 9021907
Abstract: A housing slidably guides a slider, which is driven in response to selection of a shift range of an automatic transmission. Upper and lateral sides of a movable range of the slider are covered with the housing. Thereby, application of hydraulic fluid and foreign objects to guide rails is limited to limit malfunction of the slider. Furthermore, even when the hydraulic fluid and foreign objects adhere to the guide rails, the hydraulic fluid and foreign objects can be collected at ends of the movable range of the slider and can be expelled to an outside of the housing through open ends of the housing.
