Abstract: A data management method in which a computer detects that a change has occurred to the data of a data source. The data management method includes: a first step in which the computer acquires data from the data source; a second step in which the computer analyzes the meaning of the acquired data in units of a column and stores the latest analysis result in a meaning storage unit; a third step in which the computer acquires the previous analysis result of the column from the meaning storage unit; a fourth step in which the computer compares the latest analysis result with the previous analysis result and determines that a change has occurred to the data when there is a difference; and a fifth step in which, when it is determined that a change has occurred to the data, the computer outputs the occurrence of the change and the difference.
