  • Patent number: 7777808
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus illuminates an object and captures an image of the object using the reflected light from the object. The image capturing apparatus includes an image sensor for capturing an image of the object by receiving reflected light, distance-measuring light-emitting devices for irradiating the object with spot light, and a control circuit for driving the distance-measuring light-emitting devices, detecting the spot light positions of the distance-measuring light-emitting devices from an image captured by the image sensor, and obtaining the distance to the object. The image sensor provided for capturing an image of the object can be used as a photodetector device for distance measurement. With this, it becomes unnecessary to separately provide a photodetector device for distance measurement, which enables miniaturization of the image capturing apparatus, as well as cost reduction.

  • Publication number: 20100136204
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel water-soluble soybean polysaccharide which is produced by imparting a function of stabilizing a protein in a pH range around the isoelectric point of the protein to a water-soluble soybean polysaccharide. Also disclosed is a novel dispersion stabilizer which enables to stabilize the dispersion of a protein in a pH range around the isoelectric point of the protein. Further, disclosed is a acidic protein food/beverage comprising the dispersion stabilizer. A crosslinked product of a water-soluble soybean polysaccharide extracted from a soybean seed raw material can improve the dispersion stability of a milk protein in a pH range around the isoelectric point of the protein. • Patent number: 7729005
Abstract: An engine control section detects that a sheet in a cassette is exhausted during duplex image formation. If a sheet with its first surface being printed is on standby in a duplexer, an image formation timing signal is output for a first surface of a sheet not fed because of a paper-out. Subsequently, an image formation timing signal is output for a second surface of the sheet that is in the duplexer and has its first surface printed. After completing the image formation of the second surface of the sheet, the operation is halted.

  • Publication number: 20090282279
Abstract: An internal circuit (151) has a timing constraint only in relation to an internal-signal transmitting and receiving circuit (102) and no timing constraint in relation to an external-signal receiving circuit (101). A layout accordingly becomes possible in which the external-signal receiving circuit (101) is not affected by the timing constraint of the internal circuit (151). Since a layout of the external-signal receiving circuit (101) thus realizes shorter distances between the external-signal receiving circuit (101) and the external clock terminal (154) and between the external-signal receiving circuit (101) and the external data terminal (155) so as to satisfy the timing constraints between the external-signal receiving circuit (101) and the external clock and data terminals (155) and (154), the timing constraint between an AC clock signal and an AC data signal is easily satisfied.
