  • Publication number: 20240053048
Abstract: A blower includes a motor with variable rotational speed, and a first controller. The motor has a shaft supported by a bearing with a lubricant sealed in. The first controller rotationally drives the motor. The first controller executes first control to decrease the rotational speed of the motor when a first temperature, which is the temperature of the bearing, decreases during operation in which the motor is rotated in a predetermined low rotational speed range. This air conditioner includes: an indoor unit having the blower, a temperature sensor that measures the first temperature, and a heat exchanger; and a second controller that controls the blower to perform air conditioning operation in a space to be air-conditioned in which the indoor unit is installed.

  • Publication number: 20230358428
Abstract: A fan device includes a motor and a control unit. The motor has a variable number of revolutions. The motor includes a shaft supported by a bearing enclosing lubricant. The control unit drives the motor. The control unit executes, when continuously driving the motor at a first number of revolutions or less for a first time period, driving the motor at a second number of revolutions more than the first number of revolutions for a second time period shorter than the first time period. The first number of revolutions causes poor oil film formation of the lubricant in the bearing if the motor is driven for more than the first time period. The second number of revolutions causes oil film formation of the lubricant in the bearing if the motor is driven for the second time period.

  • Publication number: 20230314038
Abstract: The disclosure prevents a state where a liquid refrigerant is likely to be accumulated in an outdoor heat exchanger upon small load operation at low outdoor temperature during cooling operation. A junction part is disposed between a path and a liquid side inlet-outlet port, and includes a junction flow passage configured to cause a refrigerant flowing from the path to the liquid side inlet-outlet port to join and flow therein. A branching passage has a first end connected to the path, and a second end connected to the junction flow passage. An outdoor heat exchanger is configured to increase, upon decrease in load, a flow rate ratio of a refrigerant flowing to the branching passage to volume of a refrigerant flowing to the path.

  • Patent number: 11493226
Abstract: Provided is an air conditioning apparatus that sufficiently raises the temperature of hot air to be blown out when receiving a request for high-temperature air temporarily raising the temperature of the hot air. A first use side unit includes a first use side heat exchanger and a first use side fan. A second use side unit includes a second use side heat exchanger and a second use side fan. When the first use side unit receives a request for the high-temperature air and the second use side unit receives no request for the high-temperature air, the air conditioning apparatus shifts to a mode that performs control to reduce the airflow volume of the second use side fan or make the airflow volume of the second use side fan zero such as reducing the number of revolutions of the second use side fan in another room by 40 rpm.

  • Patent number: 8493927
Abstract: In a control apparatus which transmits/receives data from a central processing unit via a serial transfer channel to a communication control unit, and groups/distributes data of input/output units from the communication control unit via a parallel transfer channel, the control apparatus initiates a diagnosing unit of the parallel transfer channel in response to an instruction issued from the central processing unit, and diagnosis the input/output units subsequent to the diagnosis of the transmission channel. Data input/output timing of the input/output unit is also instructed from the central processing unit, so that the central processing unit can suppress lowering of response speeds caused by the diagnoses, and can maintain the periodicity of the data input/output.

  • Publication number: 20110131348
Abstract: In the disclosed control system, loops of 1st path and 2nd path are formed connecting an active CPU unit and each of RIO units, the direction of data frame transfer through the loop of 1st path being opposite to that of the data frame transfer through the loop 2nd path. Reflective electro-optical transducer modules are used in the RIO units which are connected with the active CPU unit so that a standby CPU unit can also be connected. Further, the loop of 1st path and the loop of 2nd path are formed connecting the standby CPU module and each of the RIO modules. The data frame transfer directions through the loops connecting the active CPU unit and each of the RIO units are opposite to the data frame transfer directions through the corresponding loops connecting the standby CPU unit and each of the RIO units.
