Abstract: Provided is a packaged iontophoresis system 15 including: an iontophoresis system 10 including an apparatus body 50 for transdermally delivering an ionized drug by iontophoresis, and a connection part 70 extended from the apparatus body 50 and connected to the apparatus body 50 and a power source 60, the power source 60 supplying power to the apparatus body 50; a package material 80 hermetically packaging the apparatus body 50 and a portion of the connection part 70, by at least a part thereof being welded to the connection part 70; and a cutting guide 400 guiding a cutting line of the package material 80 so that the part of the package material 80 welded to the connection part 70 remains at the connection part 70 when the package material 80 is opened.

Abstract: A facsimile apparatus is equipped with an ink jet printer in which the recording head is inspected for ink discharge failure in response to a call signal, then a head recovery process is effected in case of discharge failure, and the normal data reception process is started after the discharge failure is rectified. If the discharge failure is not rectified after repeated recovery processes, the communication is interrupted, so that wasted communication resulting from malfunction of the recording head can be avoided.

Abstract: An image communication apparatus, for recording an image using a recording head for ejecting an ink from an ejection port by utilizing energy generated by an ejection energy generation element, includes a communication section for communication a procedure signal associated with a communication and image data, a driving section for driving the recording head in accordance with the image data received by the communication section, a preservation section for performing preservation processing of the recording head, and a control section for discriminating a procedure signal transmitted after the image data, and controlling an operation of the preservation section on the basis of the discrimination result. When the control section discriminates that a specific procedure signal for successively performing reception is transmitted, it causes the preservation section to execute the preservation processing.
