    Abstract: To provide an electronic key capable of easily checking whether or not data has been read from a contact IC chip and enhance reliability of security, an electronic key includes a contact IC chip connected in series to first and second terminals so that data is read from the IC chip by a current allowed to flow between the first and second terminals, wherein the electronic key comprises an LED arranged in parallel to the contact IC chip and allowed to turn on through use of the current allowed to flow between the first and second terminals when the first and second terminals contact with IC chip data reading means, and turn-on of the LED indicates that data has been read from the contact IC chip.

The Ni-based single crystal superalloy has excellent specific creep strength.

    Abstract: A magnetic disk device includes a magnetic head assembly, which includes magnetic heads, support plates, and a flexible wiring substrate that are integrally formed. The magnetic heads include heating elements for making head element parts protrude toward magnetic disks by thermal expansion, the support plate supports the magnetic head, the flexible wiring substrate is provided along the support plate and electrically connects the magnetic heads to a circuit system, and the magnetic head assembly and the magnetic disks are assembled in a case. The magnetic disk device includes a sensor and a floating distance control circuit. The sensor detects at least one of atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity in the case. The floating distance control circuit increases or decreases current supplied to the heating element on the basis of the output of the sensor and controls the floating distance of the magnetic head so that the floating distance is constant.

A requested braking force is detected base on an operating amount of a brake pedal, and when the requested braking force is less than a threshold value, a master cylinder pressure prevailing in the master cylinder using an operating force boosted by the brake booster is supplied to the wheel cylinder. On the other hand, when the requested braking force is greater than or equal to the threshold value, brake fluid pressure having been boosted by a pump is supplied to the wheel cylinder. The threshold value is set to a value that becomes greater the larger the negative pressure inside the brake booster.
