  • Publication number: 20040233221
Abstract: A transmission-side cellular phone sends, via a mail server, to a reception-side cellular phone a face image and its attribute information as an attachment to an email. The reception-side cellular phone extracts the face image from the email, selects face part images from among a plurality of face part images stored in the face part storing section, combines the face image and the selected face parts, and displays the combined image. The reception-side cellular phone selects the face part images based on, for example, a number of times a telephone call from a person was not attended in a predetermined period.

  • Patent number: 5805541
Abstract: In an information processing apparatus for recording and/or reproducing a circumferential data string from a recording medium, there are provided a scanning mechanism for performing relative movement of the probe and the recording medium so that the probe scans the recording medium, a driving circuit for supplying a drive signal to the scanning mechanism so as to permit the probe to scan the recording medium circumferentially, an oscillation circuit for performing micro-vibration of the probe in a direction perpendicular to the data string, a detection circuit for detecting a signal that corresponds to a positional deviation of the probe from the data string, and a multiplier for multiplying the signal that is detected and the drive signal.

  • Patent number: 5176353
Abstract: Movable and stationary rails are of complementary cross sections, the movable rail being generally C-shaped with grooved side wall portions, the stationary rail having an elongate flat upper plate whose side edge portions constitute guide edge portions. The side edge portions of the stationary rail are spacedly received in the grooved side wall portions of the movable rail. Metal rollers are disposed between major flat portions of the movable and stationary rails. A plastic slider is secured to each of the guide edge portions and so shaped as to be neatly and slidably received in the corresponding grooved side wall portion of the movable rail. The plastic slider has an opening through which an outside edge wall of the guide edge portion is exposed. A metal ball is rotatably received in the opening in such a manner that diametrically opposed ends thereof are contactable with the outside edge wall and an inner surface of the corresponding grooved side wall.

  • Patent number: 5144849
Abstract: A reduction gear is shown, which is designed to facilitate assembly of essential parts in a case. The reduction gear comprises a worm; a worm wheel meshed with the worm; a lower case part having a semicylindrical recess which rotatably receives the worm, and an upper case part to be mounted on the lower case part to close the semicylindrical recess. The semicylindrical recess has an opening which is so sized as to permit insertion of the worm into the semicylindrical recess therethrough. A threaded bore is formed in the lower case part, which is merged and aligned with the semicylindrical recess. A bolt is screwed into the threaded bore having its inside end pressed against one axial end of the worm for achieving a stable rotation of the worm in the semicylindrical recess.

  • Patent number: 4995568
Abstract: A wire terminal attaching structure of a driven rotary body comprises a drive device for driving the driven rotary body, a cover for rotatably supporting and surrounding the driven rotary body, and an engaging device formed in the driven rotary body and engagable with a terminal portion of a wire. The engaging device has a guide groove connected to a circumferential groove formed in the driven rotary body and receiving the wire, and an inserted port communicated with the guide groove and receiving the terminal portion of the wire. The cover has a cut-out portion for exposing the guide groove and the inserted port. The cover comprises a base plate rotatably supporting the driven rotary body and a cover for surrounding the driven rotary body and having the cut-out portion. The wire is connected to an auxiliary member operated by the movement of the wire. The inserted port is disposed along the axial direction of the driven rotary body.

  • Patent number: 4970911
Abstract: A power device for a window regulator is disclosed. The window regulator is of a type which regulates a window pane by moving pull-up and pull-down drive cables connected to the window pane. The power device comprises a motor-powered driving part which includes an output shaft which has a regular polygonal cross section; and a cable winder part including a drum about which the pull-up and pull-down drive cables are wound, the drum having a coupling bore to which the output shaft is engaged, the coupling bore having a regular polygonal star-like cross section with equally spaced angular recesses. The number of the equally spaced angular recesses of the coupling bore is integral times as many as that of the angles of the polygonally cross-sectioned output shaft.

  • Patent number: 4759653
Abstract: In a wire fixing device for a window regulator for an automotive vehicle, for instance, a wire stopper fixed to a wire is engaged with a recess formed in a wire fixing member fixed to a window panel carry unit slidable along two guide rails when the carry plate unit is moved to and fro by the wire. The wire fixing member is, in particular, formed with a slit for allowing only the wire to pass across the wire fixing member in the direction perpendicular to the wire extending direction, and fixed to the window panel carry unit in constained beam fashion. To engage the wire stopper with the recess, the wire fixing member is first dislocated from the wire stopper within an access hole, the wire is raised passing through the slit by holding the wire through the access hole; and the wire fixing member is slided just under the wire stopper. This device is small in size, high in rigidity and easy to assemble the wire to the window panel carry unit.
