  • Patent number: 9420415
Abstract: A first node selects a selection node that is the send source of a packet with the highest received radio wave intensity from among packets received from a plurality of second node. The first node sends, to the selection node, a report packet that stores therein an identifier that specifies each of a plurality of first nodes and whose destination is a third node. The second node adds an identifier that specifies each of the plurality of second nodes to the report packet that was received from the first node with the received radio wave intensity that is equal to or greater than a predetermined value among the report packets which are transmitted by the plurality of first nodes and relays the report packet to the third node. The third node detects a node corresponding to the identifier that is not included in the report packets received.

  • Publication number: 20080298332
Abstract: A packet data communication method including a radio base station receiving packet data from a mobile terminal, and generating a data frame having a packet frame error detection code and transmitting to a control station. The control station detects an error in a packet frame contained in the data frame based on the error detection code. Packet frames with no error detected therein are separated, while a sequence number of the packet frame with an error detected therein is detected. The packet frames are arranged in order of sequence number, and the arrival of a packet frame having a missing sequence number is awaited. After a waiting period packet frames, other than those with an error detected therein, are arranged in continuous order by sequence numbers.

  • Publication number: 20080170503
Abstract: A packet processing method includes the steps of deciding whether or not a packet has the same contents as a packet that has been processed before the packet (MAC-e PDU) generated based on data received by branches from a mobile terminal (#120), dividing the packet into ES packets of a unit of MAC-es PDU (#121) if the packet is decided not to have the same contents (No in #120), deciding whether or not each ES packet obtained by the division should be a transmission object to a core network (#124), and transmitting the ES packet that is decided to be the transmission object to the core network. In this case, the packet decided to have the same contents in the decision of the step #120 is discarded without performing the processes of the division in the step #121, the decision of the step #124 and the like.

  • Publication number: 20070072612
Abstract: A wireless (radio) communication system having a high-speed packet communication function, which is based on an HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) system, the wireless communication system including a base station control device, the base station control device including a unit receiving from a handover source base station, when handover of a wireless terminal occurs between plural base stations under control, residual packet information about a packet remaining untransmitted to the wireless terminal from the handover source base station, and a unit transmitting, when receiving the residual packet information, a packet corresponding to the residual packet information to a handover destination base station in preference to a packet in a next transmission standby status.

  • Publication number: 20030189920
Abstract: The present invention provides a transmission network system, which can discover the location of a failure of a data channel during a control channel failure. When a first transmission device located at a downstream side of a working path detects a failure of a working data channel for transmitting data signals to be input to the first transmission device along the working path during a control channel failure, it notifies the failure of the working channel to a second transmission device located at an upstream side of the working path via a bypass control channel. The second transmission device judges the location of the failure based on positional relationship between the second and first transmission devices, and based on presence of a failure of a working data channel for transmitting data signals to be input to the second transmission device along the working path.

  • Patent number: 6470015
Abstract: A transmitting sequence changing/restoring unit receives, from an ATM control unit, ATM cells stored with the transmitting target information in a segmented state. The transmitting sequence changing/restoring unit groups the cells of this cell string by fours, adds the synchronous cell to the head each group, and changes the sequence thereof. The respective cells are transferred in the changed sequence in sections ranging from the transmitting sequence changing/restoring unit of the transmitting-side ATM node to the unit of the receiving-side ATM node. Accordingly, even if the ATM cell string is intercepted by the third part in this section, this third party cannot reproduce the original transmitting target information.

  • Patent number: 6385200
Abstract: A broadcast control system and its components capable of determining unique routes to deliver broadcast cells to every destination in an ATM network, which is designed to avoid network congestion and subsequent degradation in quality of service, as well as to reduce the workloads imposed on network equipment. The ATM network is organized by a plurality of network elements and at least one service provider terminal connected to a source network element. A broadcast routing controller disposed in the source network element distributes a broadcast routing control cell over the ATM network. Each network element on the network receives this broadcast routing control cell as well as its replicas delivered through different paths, and on the basis of information contained in those control cells, it establishes its own routing data in the local storage. This routing data indicates a particular link that is connected to the shortest path between the source network element and the present network element.
