  • Patent number: 8928743
Abstract: A radio signal transmitter receives, from an image display device (i) synchronizing signals for switching between displaying a right-eye image and displaying a left-eye image on the image display device and (ii) liquid crystal shutter control data indicating which image is displayed, and transmits the synchronizing signals and the liquid crystal shutter control data to stereoscopic image glasses. The radio signal transmitter includes: a period detecting section that detects a period of each of the synchronizing signals; and a period data storage section in which the period is stored as period data. The radio signal transmitter is configured such that the period data in the period data storage section is updated every time the period of each of the synchronizing signals is detected. This makes it possible to provide a radio signal transmitter, stereoscopic image glasses, and an image display system that achieve a reduction in power consumption.

  • Patent number: 8675056
Abstract: Stereographic glasses includes reception-stop timing control means that is so arranged as to: (i) cause a wireless-signal receiving section to stop receiving signals, after a cycle detection section detects a cycle of synchronous signals and a liquid crystal shutter control data memory section stores liquid crystal shutter control data therein signals; (ii) cause a liquid crystal shutter control signal timing generation section to generate timings for controlling opening and closing of liquid crystal shutters, based on cycle signals generated by a cycle signal generation section and the liquid crystal shutter control data stored in the liquid crystal shutter control data memory section; and (iii) cause a liquid crystal shutter control section to open and close the liquid crystal shutters, at the timings thus generated.

  • Publication number: 20120133884
Abstract: A pair of 3D glasses of the present invention includes an optical detecting section which is provided in a frame for detecting whether or not the pair of 3D glasses is being worn by a user. The optical detecting section has (i) an LED which emits detection light which is used to detect a user who is wearing the pair of 3D glasses and (ii) a PD which receives the detection light which has been emitted by the LED and is then reflected from the user.

  • Patent number: 8145767
Abstract: For the purpose of allowing a sensor device (10) to carry out wireless communication with a server node (11), the sensor device (10) makes an inquiry about the server node (11) connectable to the sensor device (10) (S12). The server node (11) responds to the sensor device (10) (S13). The sensor device (10) transmits a result of the inquiry as a candidate list (S15). The server node (11) transfers the candidate list to a top node (S16). The top node receives key information and selection information selected from the candidate list, and transmits the key information and the selection information to the server node (11) selected (S19). The server node (11) transfers to the sensor device (10) the selection information, the key information, and a building ID and a room ID of the server node (11). The sensor device (10) determines whether the key information received agrees with sensor device key information (S20).

  • Publication number: 20070027969
Abstract: A sensor network system includes (i) a server node that transmits and receives, via network, a signal to/from an external device having one or plural external application and (ii) one or plural sensor device connected to the server node. The server node includes a processor for reducing transmission from the sensor device in accordance with a detected-data request cycle by the external application. This reduces the power consumption by the sensor device.
