  • Patent number: 9590466
Abstract: A rotor for a rotating electric machine has a core body and a magnet. The core body has a through-hole, a first polar portion, and a second polar portion. The first polar portion and the second polar portion are alternately arranged in the circumference direction. The magnet is disposed on the core body at a position corresponding to the first polar portion or the second polar portion. The through-hole has an arc-shaped surface having a first curvature radius. The first polar portion has an arc-shaped surface having a second curvature radius. The second polar portion has an arc-shaped surface having a third curvature radius. The first curvature radius is larger than or equal to the second curvature radius. The first curvature radius is larger than or equal to the third curvature radius.

  • Patent number: 8813905
Abstract: A rotating electrical machine control device includes a target current value calculation section, a PWM signal generation section, a voltage application section, and a control section. The target current value calculation section calculates target current values of electric currents supplied to windings of a rotating electrical machine. The PWM signal generation section generates PWM signals for the respective windings based on the target current values. The voltage application section applies voltages to the respective windings based on the PWM signals. When the control section stops driving of the rotating electrical machine, the PWM signal generation section generates the PWM signals in which a timing of a pulse change in the PWM signal of at least one phase is different from timings of pulse changes in the PWM signals of the other phases.

  • Publication number: 20140145564
Abstract: A housing and a rotary shaft of a motor are formed of non-magnetic material. A soft magnetic member is provided between a first axial end surface of a fixed core and a bearing. The soft magnetic member is provided on the fixed core side relative to the first bearing thereby to suppress magnetic flux leaking to a vicinity of one end part of the rotary shaft by leading the magnetic flux, which is generated from a rotor, to the rotor core through the fixed core and a casing. A magnetic angular position sensor fixed to one end part of the rotary shaft can detect a magnetic angular position of the rotor accurately without being affected by external magnetic field. As a result, noise generated by vibration of the motor can be suppressed.
