  • Patent number: 11957294
Abstract: A blower apparatus includes a motor including a rotor including a shaft extending along a vertically extending central axis, and a stator opposing the rotor in a radial direction, an impeller below the stator and fixed to the shaft, and a housing surrounding an outer side of the impeller in the radial direction. The impeller includes a base portion that widens in a direction intersecting the central axis, and blades arranged on an upper surface of the base portion along a circumferential direction. An annulus is fixed to an upper end portion of the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20200217330
Abstract: A blower includes an impeller, a motor, and a housing. The impeller is able to rotate around a center axis extending vertically. The motor includes a rotor connected to the impeller and a stator facing the rotor in a radial direction. The housing accommodates at least a part of the motor. The housing includes a first housing part, a second housing part, and a rib. The first housing part is disposed on an outer side in the radial direction of the stator and a radial inner surface thereof forms a flow passage. The second housing part is disposed on an inner side in the radial direction of the first housing part. The rib connects the first housing part and the second housing part. A bottom surface of the rib includes a bottom-surface first area that extends downward toward a front side in a rotational direction of the impeller.

  • Publication number: 20200217367
Abstract: A motor includes a rotor, a stator, a bearing, a motor housing, and a sealing member. The rotor includes a shaft. The stator faces the rotor in a radial direction. The bearing supports the rotor such that the rotor is able to rotate about the central axis. The motor housing surrounds at least a part of the stator. The sealing member includes a tubular part and a cover part. The tubular part extends in the axial direction and has an inner surface that faces an outer surface of the shaft in the radial direction with a gap interposed therebetween in the radial direction. The cover part extends inward from an inner surface of the tubular part in the radial direction. The cover part has a through-hole that penetrates therethrough in the axial direction on an inner side from an outer end of the shaft in the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20190301492
Abstract: A motor includes a rotor that is rotatable about a central axis extending in a vertical direction, a stator that is radially opposite to the rotor, and a housing to contain at least a portion of each of the rotor and the stator. The stator includes a core back and teeth each extending from the core back toward the central axis. The housing includes a top plate extending perpendicularly to the central axis, a tubular housing portion extending axially downward from a radially outer end of the top plate, and at least one projection extending axially downward from the top plate and located between adjacent ones of the teeth in a circumferential direction.

  • Publication number: 20190101132
Abstract: A blower includes an impeller fixed to a shaft extending along a central axis in an up-down direction, the impeller being rotatable about the central axis, a motor rotating the impeller, a motor housing outside the motor in a radial direction, a blower case outside the motor housing in the radial direction, and a circuit board below a lower end of the motor housing. A flow passage in communication with the impeller is between a radially outer surface of the motor housing and a radially inner surface of the blower case. The circuit board includes a circuit board through hole that penetrates through the circuit board in the axial direction inside the radially outer surface of the motor housing in the radial direction.
