Abstract: A projection conversion system for producing a 2-dimensional chest projection image from a 3-dimensional chest CT data set includes a temporal subtraction image production section 7 for producing a temporal subtraction image from a pair of 2-dimensional chest projection images which are produced by making transformation of temporally sequential two 3-dimensional chest CT data sets at a projection transformation calculation section 5, and an image display section 9 capable of displaying the temporal subtraction image.

Abstract: In an image display control system having a display unit, a plurality of first thumbnail images of a plurality of radiographic images and a plurality of second thumbnail images of a plurality of temporally processed images are displayed by a displaying unit on a screen of the display unit while the first and second thumbnail images are tabulated to form a matrix image. The radiographic images are taken at different points of time, the temporally processed images are produced by combining the radiographic images. A plurality of the thumbnail images on the matrix image is selected by a selecting unit so that a plurality of images are sequentially displayed by sequentially displaying unit. The plurality of images corresponds to the selected thumbnail images.

Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided a highly hydrophilic and porous sintered body having open-cellular pores and including a polypyridine ring structure represented by the following formula of: ##STR1## (wherein n is an integer.) which is obtained by sintering a pulverized copolymer made from acrylonitrile, a conjugated diene monomer and an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated olefinic carboxylic ester represented by the following formula of: ##STR2## (wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a halogen; and R.sub.2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
