  • Publication number: 20090092849
Abstract: A process for producing a metallic component that includes shot peening the surface of a metallic material, wherein almost no dimensional change or roughening of the surface profile of the metallic material occurs, the iron fraction adhered to the surface of the metallic material is removed efficiently, and the fatigue properties of the produced metallic component are improved. First particles containing iron as the main component and having an average particle size of not less than 0.1 mm and not more than 5 mm are projected onto the surface of a metallic material containing a lightweight alloy, and second particles containing essentially no iron and having an average particle size of not more than 200 ?m are then projected onto the surface of the metallic material.

  • Patent number: 7506378
Abstract: First, an ID added disc is loaded. A disc ID is read from the disc at step S2. The disc ID matches a hardware ID of hardware that can use software recorded on the disc. If the disc ID has not been read from the disc, an error process is performed. At step S3, a hardware ID of hardware connected to a personal computer is obtained. At step S4, it is determined whether or not both the IDs match. When the determined result represents that they match, at step S5, an application starts. When the determined result at step S4 represents that they do not match, at step S6, an error message is displayed on a display of the personal computer.

  • Patent number: 7496965
Abstract: On a CD-R, a UID that is unique identification information is pre-recorded. When the CD-R is loaded into an information terminal unit, the UID is read and transmitted to a management server through the Internet. The management server determines whether predetermined data can be recorded onto the CD-R in accordance with the received UID. For example, when the UID is valid, contents data is downloaded from the management server to the information terminal unit and recorded onto the CD-R. In addition, for example, when the UID is valid, a notification that represents that contents data is permitted to be copied or moved is transmitted from the management server to the information terminal unit. As a result, contents data recorded on another recording medium can be copied or moved to the CD-R.

  • Patent number: 7460761
Abstract: Conditions for starting the playback of the next cut in the middle of the cut of a drama are assumed to be such that, for the first cut, a viewer/listener blinks two times in the detection time zone, and for the second cut, the pupil diameter of the viewer/listener has become 8 mm or more in the detection time zone. The CPU of a playback apparatus determines whether or not the conditions are satisfied when the cut is played back, and when the conditions are satisfied, the playback of the next cut is started even in the middle of the cut. In the case of music, when the rhythm of the respiration of the viewer/listener or the motion of the body is not in tune with the rhythm of the music, the playback of the next music is started even in the middle of the music.

  • Patent number: 7415191
Abstract: Reproducing characteristics of an audio sound are controlled by an audio controller 8 and reproducing characteristics of a video image are controlled by a video controller 11. Whether or not a viewpoint of the user is directed to a display 13 side of a television receiver is detected by a viewpoint detector 14. On the basis of a detection signal from the viewpoint detector 14, a discriminating unit 15 discriminates which of a normal monitoring state, a “while watching” state, and the “concentration” state the present state corresponds to, and generates a control signal to control the reproducing characteristics so as to be adaptive to the state. If it is determined that the present state changes from the “while watching” state to the “concentration” state, a sound volume is reduced and the reproducing characteristics are automatically switched so as not to obstruct the concentration.

  • Publication number: 20080167861
Abstract: There is provided a mobile phone that detects bio-information on the user and makes information communications reflecting the detected bio-information. The mobile phone (1) includes sensors (18) that detect bio-information data. The bio-information data detected by the sensors (18) are sent to a sensor data analyzer (19) in which psychology corresponding to the detected bio-information data is analyzed based on bio-information data stored in a psychology memory (20) and psychology of the user. The sensor data analyzer (19) extracts characteristic signal patterns from the bio-information data detected by the sensors (18) and analyzes psychology corresponding to the extracted signal patterns. The psychology includes, for example, “pleased and delightful”, “discouraged”, “excited”, etc. and these states of mind are stored in association with bio-information data in the psychology memory (20).

  • Patent number: 7242952
Abstract: Bio-information sensors acquire bio-information about a user, and environmental condition sensors acquire environmental information about the user. A call-sound generating unit generates audio data from the bio-information and the environmental information, and the audio data is recorded in a ROM. Upon detecting a call signal transmitted from a base station, a CPU causes the call-sound generating unit to read the audio data. The CPU causes the call-sound generating unit to supply the audio data to a speaker that generates the sound from the audio data.

  • Patent number: 7224282
Abstract: A sound, a video and/or other environments are proposed in tune with the physical condition of a user and a peripheral environmental condition such that it becomes possible for users to feel comfortable and to be satisfied with their sensibility. It is designed to produce an objective sound, video and/or other environments by inputting bio-information of a user such as breathing, pulse-beats and heartbeats or environment information such as weather, date and hour and ambient temperature, by comparing information with the accumulated information utilized in the past, or by setting a condition that the user desires.

  • Patent number: 7199708
Abstract: By providing bio-information and/or environment information between a pair of users, it becomes possible for the users to understand the situation or the feeling of each other more deeply and earlier. A communication system for exchanging the situations and the feelings of both the users is provided without performing optional communication operations, such as a telephone call and an e-mail. The condition or the situation on the transmitter side is to be judged and to be notified to the receiver side by inputting bio-information such as breathing, pulse-beats and heartbeats or environment information such as weather, date and hour, ambient temperature, or alternatively, by comparing, synchronizing and/or relating the bio-information and/or the environment information at present with respect to the bio-information and/or the environment information in the past. With respect to the situation of the receiver side, it is also notified similarly to the transmitter side.
