Abstract: When an information screen is displayed while an application such as a game or the like is run, operation relative to the application is continued under a certain condition. The information screen can be displayed while an application is being run, irrespective of an application program such as a game or the like. Furthermore, to preferably display as many images as possible while updating the display for a predetermined period of time, the element image already rendered in the image storage means is prevented from being re-rendered.
