Abstract: A monopod body is constructed such that inside pipes having smaller diameters sequentially are extensibly inserted into an outside pipe in a telescopic fashion and a bracket to which a panhead is attached is fitted into the upper end of the outside pipe. Two auxiliary legs whose lengths are substantially equal to the shortest length of the monopod body when the monopod body is contracted most are pivotally attached to the bracket so that the two auxiliary legs can be rotated with an inclination of a predetermined angle. Therefore, the monopod for supporting a camera or the like can be served also as a tripod.

Abstract: An editing device for sequentially editing desired scenes or cuts. The editing device includes a CPU 11 which, when triggered by actuation of an edit button switch 12, issues a rewind playback command signal to a video camera 1 for a pre-set time, while issuing a pause canceling command signal to a VTR 2. After lapse of a pre-set time since the issuance of the pause canceling command signal, as set by a rotary switch 13, the CPU 11 outputs a pause setting command signal to the VTR 2. An infrared LED 14 converts the command signals from the CPU 11 and outputs the converted signals. The editing may be achieved by a simple operation of pressing the edit button switch 12 for facilitating the operation as compared to that with the conventional device.

The video camera device may be attached to the base unit and thereby be connected with another electrical apparatus, such as a VCR.

Abstract: An adapter pack is constructed so that it can be connected to a video camera via the site via which the battery pack is normally connected. The adapter pack is itself provided with a mounting site on which the battery pack can be connected. This construction allows the adapter pack to be operatively "sandwiched" between the battery pack and the camera. The adapter pack is arranged to permit the power from the battery pack to be supplied both to its own circuitry and therethrough to the camera.

Abstract: A stereo headphone having left and right headphone units which are connected to a binaural input plug that has left and right input cords respectively connected between the left and right headphone units and wherein the right and left input cords are connected together in parallel between the binaural input plug and a predetermined intermediate point and with a muting switching device mounted at the intermediate point so as to allow muting of both headphone units under selected conditions.
