  • Patent number: 11435721
Abstract: A personal computer for setting of parameters of a machine tool acquires adjusted parameters, adjusted by a numerical controller or a simulator, from the numerical controller or the simulator, makes a comparison between an axis configuration of the machine tool set up by a user and an axis configuration of the adjusted parameter adjusted by the numerical controller or the simulator, and converts the axis configuration of the adjusted parameters into the axis configuration set up by the user.

  • Patent number: 10649432
Abstract: A numerical controller of the present invention is provided with an override input unit configured to accept an operation for an override value by an operator, an override monitoring unit configured to detect the operation for the override value by the override input unit and output a notification based on the detected operation, and an execution block control unit configured to control suspension and resumption of run based on the notification output from the override monitoring unit. The override monitoring unit outputs a notification of an end-point stop request if a first operation pattern is detected from the override input unit during the run, and the execution block control unit performs control for suspending the run at the end point of a currently running block of a machining program on receiving the notification of the end-point stop request.

  • Patent number: 10324444
Abstract: Executable format data resulting from decoding of a positioning block (retraction block) prior to start of cutting and an end point coordinate position P1 for command for the retraction block are stored. When machining is interrupted and a request for retraction of a tool is input, a retracting operation 1 is performed to retract the tool from a machining interruption position P2 to the stored end point coordinate position P1 of the retraction block. Subsequently, the stored executable format data of the retraction block is executed, with a moving direction for the executable format data being reversed to move the tool. The tool performs a retracting operation 2 of moving in the opposite direction along a moving path for in the retraction block. The retracting operations 1, 2 allow the tool to be retracted while avoiding interfering with other members.

  • Patent number: 9557732
Abstract: A numerical controller restores internal data of an NC section, shifts to a machining resumption temporary suspension state, and passes an identification number extracted from NC section program resumption block data to a PMC section. The PMC section, when receiving the identification number, restores a signal state of the PMC section and a state of a peripheral machine section, and, when the restoration is completed, notifies the NC section of the completion of the restoration. Then, the NC section cancels the machining resumption temporary suspension state and shifts to a state in which machining can be resumed.

  • Patent number: 7024271
Abstract: A plurality of paths controlled by a multi-path numerical control device is divided into several groups in advance. When an alarm or single block stoppage occurs in any one path while the multi-path numerical control device is being operated, the operations of all the paths in the group to which the path belongs are stopped, whereas the operations of paths belonging to other groups are not stopped but instead continued.
