  • Patent number: 7505047
Abstract: A vehicle periphery viewing apparatus for capturing a vehicle-peripheral image includes: an image capturing device disposed on predetermined position; a display device disposed within the vehicle; and an image processing device performing an image division of the original image into a first image and a second image. The image capturing device captures an original image from the predetermined position. The display device displays the captured vehicle-peripheral image. The image processing device performs a coordinate conversion into a plan view coordinate by using a geometrical correction for the first image. The image processing device performs a predetermined image synthesis for the first image and the second image. The image processing device displays a synthesized image on the display device.

  • Patent number: 7496213
Abstract: When coordinate transformation such as viewpoint conversion is performed on source video images from cameras, the conversion table of each of the cameras is not stored in an image processing ECU. Instead, each of the cameras possesses the conversion table. Accordingly, it is not necessary to use an expensive nonvolatile memory of large capacity in the image processing ECU. Furthermore, addition or change of the cameras can be performed without trouble.

  • Patent number: 7145422
Abstract: A direct current relay includes a plurality of contact pairs, and a plurality of magnets (5). Each of the plurality of contact pairs is configured having contacts (21, 22, 31) with contact regions (21a, 22a, 31a) disposed to allow opening and closure with respect to each other. The plurality of contact pairs are disposed such that the plurality of magnets (5) are disposed on one straight line, and the contact pairs are located between the magnets (5) on a line identical to the straight line. Each of the plurality of magnets (5) is provided to distort an arc generated between contacts (21, 22, 23, 31) on an occasion of relay cut off in a direction crossing the straight line. Even if a backward current flows, arcs will not interfere with each other, allowing extinguishing in a short time.
