  • Patent number: 10980559
Abstract: In a treatment instrument, one of a pair of jaws is supported by a supporter while being pivot able around the supporter with respect to the supporter. A drive member moves along a longitudinal axis so that the pair of the jaws are closed with respect to each other, thereby applying an axial force onto an elongated member from the drive member by way of the one of the jaws and the supporter in a direction along the longitudinal axis. A contact surface of the elongated member abuts on a housing when the elongated member moves with respect to the housing under the axial force, thereby suppressing rotation of the elongated member around the longitudinal axis with respect to the housing.

  • Patent number: 7462969
Abstract: An electromagnetic actuator with a smaller size and an increased strength is provided. In the electromagnetic actuator, a first arm portion and a second arm portion that connect the magnetic poles of a stator extend to the outside of a rotor housing. A first coil and a second coil are wound around the extending portions. In other words, the first coil and the second coil are exposed to the outside of the rotor housing. Accordingly, compared with a case where the rotor housing also houses the first coil and the second coil, the width of the electromagnetic actuator can be reduced by the thickness of the rotor housing. Thus, the electromagnetic actuator can be made compact.

  • Patent number: 7106515
Abstract: A method for producing an optical element having a multi-layered antireflection film formed on a synthetic resin substrate, in which the antireflection film formed has good heat resistance, and its heat resistance lowers little with time. At least one high-refraction layer of the multi-layered anti-reflection film contains niobium oxide, zirconium oxide, yttrium oxide, and optionally aluminum oxide. High-refraction layers can be formed within a shorter period of time while not detracting from the good physical properties intrinsic to the layers.
