  • Publication number: 20240097394
Abstract: A light emitting sealed body includes: a housing which stores a discharge gas and is provided with a first opening to which first light is incident along a first optical axis and a second opening from which second light is emitted along a second optical axis; a first window portion which hermetically seals the first opening; and a second window portion which hermetically seals the second opening. The housing is formed of a light shielding material which does not transmit the first light and the second light. An internal space is defined by the housing, the first window portion, and the second window portion and the internal space is filled with the discharge gas. The first opening and the second opening are disposed so that the first optical axis and the second optical axis intersect each other.

  • Patent number: 7006462
Abstract: In a satellite communication system, an address adding portion 22 adds communication data with Next Hop address read out from a routing table portion 21. A line controller 31 judges whether a satellite communication line to the Next Hop address of the IP packet is set or not. If no satellite communication line is set, a call-originating request message is transmitted to a DAMA call-originating table portion 32. The DAMA call-originating table portion 32 has static DAMA call-originating information, and transmits to a DAMA call-originating portion 33 a DAMA call-originating request to the destination IP address of the call-originating request message. The DAMA call-originating portion 33 sets the satellite communication line to the Next Hop address by the DAMA call-originating request, and informs the line controller 31 of the setting of the satellite communication line.

  • Patent number: 6603747
Abstract: A priority corresponding to the emergency level of a communication in each slave station is allocated to a time slot assignment request transmitted from each slave station to master station. When master station receives the time slot assignment request to which the priority is set, the priority of the time slot assignment request is judges in slot assignment controller. When there is not any vacant time slot having the priority judged and at the same time there is a vacant time slot whose priority is lower than the priority concerned, the time slot whose priority is lower than the priority concerned is allocated to the time slot assignment request, whereby the assignment waiting time until data having a high emergency level are transmitted can be shortened.

  • Publication number: 20030058817
Abstract: A priority corresponding to the emergency level of a communication in each slave station is allocated to a time slot assignment request transmitted from each slave station to master station 1. When master station 1 receives the time slot assignment request to which the priority is set, the priority of the time slot assignment request is judged in slot assignment controller 1a.

  • Patent number: 5781674
Abstract: A ferrule for an optical fiber connector, through which an end of an optical fiber to be connected is inserted to fix the optical fiber thereto, is disclosed. In the ferrule, a boundary part between an optical fiber-inserting hole and an optical fiber-inserting opening is formed into a continuously curved surface. The surface defining the optical fiber-inserting hole is an unabraded surface formed of a material as calcined, whereby a slightly irregular grain boundary surface composed of particles 0 the material is formed at such a surface.

  • Patent number: 5303081
Abstract: It is profitable to oscillate a beam on objects when a high power CO.sub.2 laser beam or a high power YAG laser beam welds or anneals the objects. In order to let a laser beam scan, a device for reciprocating a lens or a device for rotating two mirrors synchronously has been proposed. These devices suffer from the difficulty of cooling. Prior devices are not applicable to a high power laser. A parallel laser beam is first reflected by a parabolic mirror. Then a mirror which is reciprocally swaying by a galvanometer reflects the beam toward the objects. A water inlet and an outlet are mounted on a rear surface of the swaying mirror. Cooling water is carried out through coiled tubes. Excellent heat diffusion prevents the galvanometer from malfunction.

  • Patent number: 4698991
Abstract: A method of and apparatus for controlling forming press conditions aids in maintaining stability in a mechanical double action press forming provided with an upper die (inner) and an outer ram (outer). These dies are driven independently wherein press conditions related to the forming process, such as a hydraulic pressure and pneumatic pressure, are automatically corrected by feedback so as to be maintained to preset values corresponding to the change of the inner stroke during the forming process. Abnormal operation can also be detected and corrected immediately by detecting the change of the press conditions during the forming process continuously or intermittently.
