Abstract: Provided is a computer system including an information providing server and a computer which is coupled to the information providing server, and which collects information, the computer being configured to: record status histories including a history of an operation to a screen which shows a status of the computer, and which is displayed on the computer in chronological order to constitute a set of the status histories; and divide, in a case where a history of an operation of switching the screen is detected from the set of the status histories, based on the history of the operation of switching the screen, the set of the status histories. Accordingly, when a user collects information, navigation information is provided by taking the fact that the user has actually reached useful information into consideration.

Abstract: A document management system a high extendability, flexibility, and stability capable of solving a problem that, as an agent-oriented paradigm system extends, the number of agents increases and indefinite factors increase. In the system configuration with an object execution environment implemented with an object-oriented function and an agent execution environment implemented with an agent-oriented function, a unit for changing an agent into an object is provided for using the agent execution environment as the object execution environment. With this configuration, a system developer can use the merits of both the object- and agent-oriented paradigms by implementing a function necessary for stable operation by an object and a function with high change occurrence frequency by an agent.

Abstract: A document searching system searches for other documents having a user-specified document cited therein as its referred document to thereby uncover the latest document associated with the user-specified document. In related document searching method, document information is registered in a text storage region, a referred document table and a related document table are created, and referred documents associated with the user-specified document are searched for with use of the created tables.
