  • Publication number: 20210193975
Abstract: A method for producing an organic light-emitting diode (1) includes a step of adjusting an integrated illuminance of light which is a product of an illuminance of light that does not include light having a wavelength range of 500 nm or less emitted to a light emitting layer (11) and an emission time of the light until formation of a cathode layer (17) starts in a second forming step after the light emitting layer (11) is formed in a first forming step.

  • Patent number: 9118013
Abstract: In a step of forming one or a plurality of organic layers, an object to be coated to become an organic EL element is arranged such that a surface to form the organic layer faces down, while a nozzle having a plurality of slit-shaped outlets for discharging thereabove a coating liquid containing a material to become the organic layer and downwardly depressed cutouts respectively formed at both end parts of each of the slit-shaped outlets is arranged under the object. A coating step of moving the nozzle and the object relative to each other in a predetermined coating direction while keeping the coating liquid discharged from the nozzle in contact with the object and a non-coating step of moving the nozzle and the object relative to each other in the coating direction while keeping the coating liquid away from the object are alternately repeated.

  • Publication number: 20150179971
Abstract: The organic electroluminescent element includes: a substrate; a first electrode on a surface of the substrate; a second electrode opposite the first electrode; and a functional layer that is between the first electrode and the second electrode and includes at least a light emission layer. In this organic electroluminescent element, the first electrode is a metal electrode and also is a light-reflective electrode, the second electrode is a light-transmissive electrode, and thus light is allowed to emerge outside from the second electrode. The light emission layer is of a polymer material and has an in-plane direction and a thickness direction. A refractive index in the in-plane direction of the light emission layer is greater than a refractive index in the thickness direction of the light emission layer.

  • Publication number: 20130052905
Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a light-emitting device including the steps of bringing a nozzle 13 that is communicated with a tank 14 for storing coating liquid 17 to be an organic electroluminescent (EL) layer and discharges the coating liquid 17 supplied from the tank 14 near a body-to-be-coated 19 that includes a support substrate arranged above the nozzle 13; bringing the coating liquid 17 discharged from the nozzle 13 in contact with the body-to-be-coated 19; and applying the coating liquid 17 to make a film thereof by relatively moving the body-to-be-coated 19 and the nozzle 13 in a state that the coating liquid 17 is in contact with the body-to-be-coated 19 to form the organic EL layer.

  • Publication number: 20120024383
Abstract: A method for coating a body with a coating liquid, the body being arranged above a nozzle through which the coating liquid is to be discharged upwardly, the coating method comprising: a coating step in which the nozzle and the body are relatively moved in a prescribed coating direction while the body is kept in contact with the coating liquid discharged through the nozzle; and a non-coating step in which the nozzle and the body are relatively moved to the coating direction while the body is kept detached from the coating liquid, wherein the two steps of coating and non-coating are alternately repeated, using the nozzle, which has a plurality of slit-shape outlets.
