Abstract: An attachment for an electronic switch having an outlet tube in one embodiment includes a first clamp member including a pair of legs having respective hooks on ends thereof, and a second clamp member having a pair of locking pawls for locking engagement with the hooks, respectively. In a second embodiment the clamp members are identical with a leg and hook and a pawl on each member. The second clamp member having a pair of cavities in which the legs can be fitted, respectively, the first and second clamp members being connectable together to hold the outlet tube of the electronic switch therebetween.

Abstract: An electronic switch includes a detector head in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped having a detecting surface and connecting members disposed on a corner thereof including a surface opposite to the detecting surface, the connecting members being identical in shape when the detecting surface is oriented in either a forward or lateral direction, the connecting members being symmetrically arranged with respect to an edge of the detector head, a head joint having an end to which the detector head is connectable by the connecting members and also having a rotatable annular connector on an opposite end thereof, and a switch box having engagement means for slidable engagement with the annular connector of the head joint so that the head joint can be rotatably mounted on the switch box. The detecting surface can be oriented in all of lateral directions by rotating the head joint.

Abstract: A secondary air introducing apparatus for introducing secondary air into the exhaust manifold of an internal combustion engine. The apparatus includes a secondary air introducing passage connected between the air cleaner and the exhaust manifold of the engine, a check valve in the passage arranged to operate in response to pulsation pressure in the exhaust manifold to supply clean secondary air thereto, a first expansion chamber interposed in the passage on an upstream side of the check valve, and a second expansion chamber interposed in the passage on an upstream side of the first chamber. At least the check valve and the first chamber are fixedly mounted on the intake manifold.

Abstract: A sub-frame supporting device in which a sub-frame adapted to support an engine, wheels and the like is supported from the body of a vehicle through an elastic support member. The supporting device comprises a pair of upper and lower holding plates oppositely disposed, a spacer pipe connecting the holding plates, a fastener for fastening the holding plates to a vehicle body and an elastic support member. A flange of the sub-frame is held between the elastic support member and a damper rib, and gaps are formed adjacent the upper and lower surfaces of the elastic support member. The rigidity of the elastic support member is set so as to be decreased with respect to vertical shearing force and increased with respect to lateral compressive force.

Abstract: A miniaturized electromagnetic device is disclosed, which is applicable to an electromagnetic relay of the flat package type.The electromagnetic device comprises a magnetic core having the configuration of the capital letter H, a coil wound round the magnetic core, and a pair of magnetic members for alternatingly forming two closed magnetic circuits in cooperation with said magnetic core, said magnetic members being formed in one-piece with the aid of connecting members of non-magnetic material, one of said magnetic members including a permanent magnet, and each tip of said magnetic member confronting the corresponding tip of said magnetic core and the clearance therebetween being changeable by the magnetic force generated therebetween as said coil is energized.
