  • Publication number: 20070182061
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a support body for pneumatic run-flat tires, which can make the structures of a mold and a vulcanizer simpler. A metallic support portion has three parts including a center portion and outside portions of both sides. A rubber leg portion is vulcanized and formed so as to be integrated to the outside portion. The center portion and the outside portions are coupled by welding or the like. A mold to form and vulcanize the leg portion can therefore be made smaller. Moreover, since the left and right leg portions can be vulcanized and formed by a single mold, the structure of the mold is simpler.
