  • Publication number: 20120092433
Abstract: When a certain dot line is printed, in a case where a head power supply time for a thermal head unit is shorter than a motor stepping time so that an idle time is present, and it is predicted that, in a succeeding dot line, the head power supply time is longer than the motor stepping time and the motor stepping time becomes long, a printing control unit of a printing apparatus starts printing the succeeding dot line before succeeding motor stepping is started.

  • Patent number: 7929005
Abstract: A thermal printer has a thermal head mounted on a case main body and a platen roller confronting the thermal head. A cover member mounted to the case main body undergoes swinging movement to open and close an opening of the case main body. A slider rotatably supports the platen roller and is mounted to the cover member for linear movement on a plane including a rotational center of the platen roller and a swing center of the cover member. Engagement pieces mounted to the slider engage with engagement portions of the case main body when the cover member closes the opening of the case main body and the platen roller confronts the thermal head. A biasing member biases the slider such that the engagement pieces engage with the engagement portions of the case main body and the platen roller is brought into pressure contact with the thermal head.

  • Patent number: 6066991
Abstract: A stabilized oscillator circuit is provided with a differential amplifier type oscillator circuit for generating an oscillation signal, and a differential amplifier type buffer output circuit for amplifying and outputting the oscillation signal. The stabilized oscillator is also provided with a frequency variation stabilizing circuit. This circuit controls the amount of current of the constant current source I2 of the buffer output circuit, in accordance with fluctuations of the power supply voltage applied to the oscillator circuit. Accordingly, the collector-base capacitance of the transistors of the buffer output circuit is controlled, and the oscillation frequency variations are suppressed in spite of fluctuations of the power supply voltage.

  • Patent number: 4714593
Abstract: An apparatus for an endothermic reaction, such as steam reforming of hydrocarbon gas, comprises a reaction vessel sandwiched or surrounded by heat generating apparatus. In the heat generating apparatus, a primary fuel gas and air are supplied and mixed therein, then pass through a fuel gas heating section therefor, a combustion catalyst bed, a combustion section and a discharge section in that order. A secondary fuel gas is supplied into the combustion section, typically in a plurality of stages. The primary fuel gas mixture is heated up or ignited in the preheating section, burns and passes through the catalyst bed. At least a part of the combustion section is packed with heat transfer bodies. The gas from the catalyst bed burns in the combustion section with the secondary fuel. The heat transfer bodies receive heat from the combustion gas passing therethrough by convection and radiates the heat to the reaction vessel.
