  • Publication number: 20240126853
Abstract: High-accuracy multimodal biometric authentication of a plurality of body organisms is achieved while suppressing postural fluctuation when the plurality of body organisms are captured. An authentication system stores feature quantities for body organisms in association with users and performs biometric authentication on the basis of images from a capture device. The capture device photographs a first body organism of a first user during a first period and captures a second body organism and a third body organism of the first user during a second period. The authentication processing device calculates a first feature quantity from the first body part photographed during the first period, respectively calculates a second feature quantity and a third feature quantity from the second body organism and the third body organism captured during the second period, and compares with the feature quantities for the body organisms of each user stored at the storage device.

  • Patent number: 9945496
Abstract: Structure of control valve body of automatic transmission has valve body enclosures having channels on opposing surfaces thereof; a separate plate sandwiched between the valve body enclosures for defining oil passages on both sides of the separate plate; and an orifice provided at the separate plate. The oil passages on both sides of the separate plate, which are upstream and downstream side oil passages located on upstream and downstream sides of the separate plate, communicate with each other through the orifice. Depth h, in a part facing to the orifice, of the channel corresponding to the downstream side oil passage is set to be shallower than depth of the channel corresponding to the upstream side oil passage, and the depth h of the channel in the part facing to the orifice and a diameter d of the orifice are set so as to satisfy relationship of h?3d.

  • Patent number: 9206803
Abstract: An oil pump apparatus for supplying an oil to a vehicular transmission, includes a pump to suck the oil from an oil reservoir through an inlet port into a pumping chamber, and an intake circuit to convey the oil sucked from the oil reservoir to the inlet port. The intake circuit includes a proximal segment, an intermediate segment and a distal segment. The proximal segment extends from the inlet port, to the intermediate segment. The intermediate segment extends upwards from the proximal segment. The distal segment extends downwards from a first connecting end portion connected with the intermediate segment to a end portion formed with an suction opening to suck the oil from the oil reservoir into the intake circuit.

  • Patent number: 8355848
Abstract: There is provided a hydraulic control device for controlling a hydraulic pressure supplied to a vehicle start-up engagement element in an automatic transmission when a shift lever is moved from a non-drive range position to a drive range position. The hydraulic control device has a target pressure setting section that sets, based on an input torque of the automatic transmission, a target value of hydraulic pressure supplied to the vehicle start-up engagement element at the completion of engagement of the vehicle start-up engagement element and corrects the target value periodically based on the transmission input torque until the completion of engagement of the vehicle start-up engagement element and a hydraulic pressure control section that controls the hydraulic pressure in such a manner that the hydraulic pressure supplied to the vehicle start-up engagement element reaches the corrected target value at the completion of engagement of the vehicle start-up engagement element.
