  • Publication number: 20240039977
Abstract: The present technique relates to a signal processing device and a learning device capable of improving playback quality. The signal processing device generates a packet by packetizing encoded data encoded in monaural and separated for channels; transmits, by wireless communication, the packet generated; and controls a number of retransmissions of the packet and a bitrate in accordance with a fluctuation value of a first parameter for estimating a radio wave state, the first parameter being obtained from a receiving device. The present technique can be applied in an audio playback system that plays back audio data.

  • Patent number: 11751768
Abstract: A biological data measurement device has patches. A patch to be mounted on the human body basically includes first and second heat insulators, first and second temperature measurement circuits, and a belt-shaped wiring film (bus wire). Therefore, the configuration is simple. For example, a thickness can be approximately several mm, and a weight can be approximately several grams. The patch is easily mounted on the human body, and is inexpensive. The patch is equipped with a selection circuit, and selectively outputs a temperature signal of a first thermometer and a temperature signal of a second thermometer at a predetermined timing. Accordingly, even in a case where the patches are mounted on a plurality of locations of the human body, the number of wires is settled by the number required for one patch. The number of wires can be significantly reduced, compared to the number of wires in the related art.

  • Publication number: 20230133271
Abstract: A decoding apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes: a reception unit; a first storage unit; a second storage unit; and a decoding unit. The reception unit receives a plurality of pieces of encoded data generated by encoding a plurality of pieces of frame data to be wirelessly transmitted, identification information being assigned to each of the plurality of pieces of frame data. The first storage unit stores each of the received plurality of pieces of encoded data in a predetermined storage area. The second storage unit stores, on a basis of the identification information corresponding to each of the plurality of pieces of encoded data, an address of the storage area of the first storage unit in which each of the plurality of pieces of encoded data is stored. The decoding unit reads the encoded data from the first storage unit on a basis of the address stored in the second storage unit on a basis of the identification information, and decodes the read encoded data.

  • Patent number: 8831510
Abstract: A near-field wireless communication circuit 10 included in a terminal 1A can perform switching between a normal mode and a near mode which has a relatively short communicable distance and a relatively high transmission rate as compared with those in the normal mode. Further, a controller 13 executes preliminary processing for starting data transmission and reception in the near mode to/from a terminal 1B serving as a communication destination between the terminals 1A and 1B by using the near-field wireless communication circuit 10 which is set to the normal mode. Further, the controller 13 determines the availability of the data transmission and reception in the near mode to/from the terminal 1B by using a measured value of communication quality which has a correlation with a communication distance to the terminal 1B as a measure of the determination.
