  • Patent number: 5129124
Abstract: A cleaning machine includes a frame having wheels, a suction blower having an air inlet and an air outlet and mounted on the frame, an intake opening communicating with the air inlet of the suction blower for sucking dirt containing relatively large dirt such as fallen leaves and relatively small dirt such as dust together with air by the sucking force generated by the suction blower, a dirt separator communicating with the air outlet of the suction blower by means of a duct for separating the dirt from the air blown out from the suction blower, and a dirt receptable for collecting the relatively large dirt separated by the dirt separator, and the dirt receptacle detachably attached under the main separator.

  • Patent number: 5129125
Abstract: A cleaning machine includes a frame having wheels, a suction blower having an inlet and an outlet mounted on the frame, an intake opening communicated with the inlet of the suction blower for sucking dirt containing relatively large dirt such as fallen leaves and relatively small dirt such as dust together with air, a main separator for separating the relatively large dirt, a subseparator for separating the relatively small dirt from the air having passed through the main separator, and a dirt receptacle made of an air-impermable material detachably attached under the main separator through a pivoting rod which is pivotably mounted to the frame so as to support the receptacle to the main separator and a clamp member for securing the dirt receptacle to the main separator.

  • Patent number: 5054276
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a cutting blade for a mowing apparatus, which comprises a pair of first and second pivotal cutting wheels slidably superposed with each other and each provided with a number of grass cutting edges along its circumference, each of the teeth having a major surface, two side edges and an outer periphery edge; and mechanism for reciprocatingly rotating each cutting wheel in opposite directions through a predetermined angle, respectively. At least one of the side edges of each of the teeth of the cutting wheels is defined by an inclined surface forming an acute angle relative to a major surface of the tooth so as to form a cutting edge, and the outer periphery edge is defined by a plane substantially perpendicular to the major surface of the tooth. Namely, there is no sharp edge in the outer peripheries of the teeth of the cutting wheels or the free ends of teeth.

  • Patent number: 4998401
Abstract: To mow even soft grass more tidily in shearing mode without kicking pebbles, a pair of two grass cutting wheels are pivotally driven by an engine in two mutually-different directions. One cutting wheel is slidably fixed relative to the other cutting wheel for safety. The mowing machine can be used in common to shear off grass on the ground and trim a garden tree by adjusting an angle between a hollow grip pipe and the machine cutting surface.

  • Patent number: 4452479
Abstract: A grip attachment to an implement arm of construction or industrial equipment via a swivel coupling comprises three interdigitating, articulate fingers, two pivotable about a first axis and the other pivotable about a second axis parallel to the first. Each finger consists of a first segment pivotable about the first or second axis and a second segment pin-jointed to the first segment. Hydraulic cylinders are employed to cause pivotal motion of the fingers about the first and second axes, and of their second segments relative to the first segments. An additional hydraulic cylinder acts to cause pivotal displacement of the second axis about the first axis, so that the finger pivotable about the second axis can be extended and contracted with respect to the other two fingers.

  • Patent number: 3974881
Abstract: Bulldozer blade mounting including two push arms swingably mounted on the opposite sides of a tractor at their proximal ends, a blade connected to the distal ends of the arms, a tilt brace connected between the top of the respective arm and the upper side of the back of the blade, and a pair of diagonal braces each swingably connected to the respective arm and extending inwardly toward each other and connected at its inner end together by a universal pivotable means. The location of the universal pivotable means is so selected that it lies at a level higher than the plane including the pivotable connection of the respective diagonal braces to the arms. This construction eliminates the need for slidable and pivotable connection between the diagonal braces and the loose connection of the slidable and pivotable connection to the back of the blade thereby permitting the construction and assembly to be simple and the production cost to be low while proper operation of the blade mounting is insured.
