  • Patent number: 5148470
Abstract: A radio telephone apparatus including a base unit connected to a wire line and a radio telephone unit connected to the base unit via a radio communication link. The apparatus has an instantaneous conversation function for establishing a conversation state by detecting that the radio telephone unit has been lifted up in a standby state, and also has a talk commencing/terminating key allowing a command for commencing a conversation and a command for terminating the conversation to be inputted alternately. A time guard controlling circuit is also provided for invalidating an input operation of the talk commencing/terminating key if the talk commencing/terminating key is operated during a preset time. Simultaneously as the conversation state is established by lifting the radio telephone unit in the standby state, the preset timer is started, and even if the talk commencing/terminating key is pressed during the preset time of the timer, the input operation is invalidated and the conversation state is maintained.

  • Patent number: 5111499
Abstract: A cordless telephone apparatus adapted to produce a ringer tone from a connection device during power stoppage. The ringer circuit is rendered inoperative when the connection device and cordless telephone are connected via a radio circuit in response to an incoming call from a subscriber's line, and rendered operative in at least one of the two cases in which the connection device and the cordless telephone are not connected via the radio circuit in response to an incoming call from the subscriber's line and in which the power source stops supplying power.

  • Patent number: 5109537
Abstract: A radio telecommunication apparatus is disclosed which is adapted to, prior to the transmission and reception of control data, transfer its own ID code from an external memory to an internal memory and hold it there and to read the held data which is employed for control data transmission and reception out of the internal memory upon each subsequent transmission and reception of the control data.

  • Patent number: 4972454
Abstract: A radio telephone apparatus comprising a main station connected to a wire telephone line and having a subsidiary telephone set, and a radio telephone set connected with the main station via a radio link, wherein the radio telephone set effectively or ineffectively controls a function of releasing the hold state by the off-hook operation of the subsidiary telephone set. By the operation of the radio telephone set, telephone communication can be switched between a self-hold state and a complete hold state. The self-hold state can be released only by the radio telephone set while the complete state hold can be released by any one of the radio telephone set and the subsidiary telephone set. In the complete hold state, the radio link between the main station and the radio telephone set is disconnected. If the complete hold state is released by the radio telephone set, the radio link is again established between the main station and the radio telephone set.

  • Patent number: 4802201
Abstract: Where a carrier wave is received from a called radio telephone set and where the identification signal of the radio telephone set coincides with a preassigned identification signal, transmission of a paging signal from a base unit is stopped. Even when the identification signals do not coincide with each other, the paging signal is sent continuously over a definite interval. Communication is established only when the signal from a handset to the base station has a predetermined strength and a proper I.D.

  • Patent number: 4788712
Abstract: In a howler indicator of a cordless telephone system, a howler signal is detected by a howler signal detecting means provided in the master device, the mobile device is informed of the detection of the howler signal by a predetermined command signal transmitted from the master device through a radio line, and in response to this an indicating means provided in the mobile device is activated to prompt the operator to replace or hang up the mobile device correctly for the purpose of putting the mobile device in the ON-HOOK state.

  • Patent number: 4761806
Abstract: An information storing apparatus is provided in a radio telephone apparatus having a base unit coupled to a wired telephone line and a radio telephone set. The base unit includes a memory for storing telephone number information and line relay for making or breaking a speech path between the base unit and the wired telephone line. When a registration signal is transmitted from the radio telephone set, the base unit is disconnected from the wired telephone line to break the speech path. Thereafter, if a dial signal from the radio telephone set is received, the received dial signal is stored in the memory as the telephone number information used for a reduced dialog operation. If a calling signal arrives at the wired telephone line while the dial signal is being stored, the calling signal is detected by another telephone apparatus coupled to the wired telephone line. Therefore, the telephone apparatus generates a ringing signal in response to the detected signal.
