  • Patent number: 9641427
Abstract: A client interface unit receives a pause frame transmitted from a client device compatible with a relatively low communication rate. A data rate conversion unit generates a plurality of pause frames in accordance with a pause time designated by the received one pause frame and transmits the plurality of pause frames to a frame processing unit compatible with a relatively high communication rate. The frame processing unit stops transmitting a frame destined to the client device in accordance with the plurality of pause frames.

  • Publication number: 20070177601
Abstract: In a cell assembling method and device for packets received from a plurality of input ports, packets received from e.g. four input ports are respectively stored in packet buffers. By sequentially and cyclically providing a read request to the packet buffers at regular intervals, the packets per fixed length data are sequentially and cyclically read. Then, by capsulating the fixed length data read (any one of fixed length data), the data is converted into e.g. an ATM cell. Alternatively, based on cell assembling information (any one of cell assembling information synchronized with fixed length data), e.g. an ATM header is generated to be used for a conversion into the ATM cell.

  • Publication number: 20030198233
Abstract: The invention relates to provide a cross-connect switch and a route monitoring assist apparatus both suitable for a synchronous transfer mode. An object of the invention is to attain cross-connect at a low cost with reliability in a much higher rate group than in the conventional example. To this end, the invention provides a cross-connect switch comprising a multiport storage section having a plurality of read ports randomly accessible and a plurality of write ports to which data of a plurality of channels that are time-division-multiplexed are input individually in parallel; an address storage section for storing addresses to be supplied to the respective read ports; and a controlling section for writing data in units of a plurality of channels by supplying write addresses sequentially to each of the write ports, and for supplying addresses stored in the address storage section to the respective read ports.

  • Patent number: 4490018
Abstract: A photographic lens including a focus ring rotatable between prescribed end limits corresponding respectively with an infinite focus setting and a relatively close focus setting is provided with an adjustable range stop assembly for selectively setting one end limit at a position corresponding with a focus setting at which scenes or events are anticipated by the photographer. In one preferred form, the range stop assembly comprises a selector switch carried by the focus ring for movement of a control pin between stops on the lens housing wherein one of the stops is defined by a plurality of lands at different circumferential positions whereby the permissible range of focus ring rotation is selected in accordance with the position of the control pin.

  • Patent number: 4461545
Abstract: A locking system is provided for selectively locking the operating ring of a zoom lens against axial displacement to secure optical elements of the zoom lens in a selected position of magnification adjustment. The locking system comprises a ratchet carried by the operating ring and urged by a spring into locking engagement with a toothed rack mounted on the zoom lens housing to lock the operating ring in a selected axial position of adjustment. A control pin is movable upon depression of a spring-biased button to engage the ratchet and move it away from engagement with the toothed rack to permit axial displacement of the operating ring to an alternative magnification setting. In one embodiment of the invention, a lock-release switch selectively maintains the ratchet away from engagement with the rack.
