  • Patent number: 7612511
Abstract: A load drive apparatus includes a noise filter, which includes a coil connected in series between a power source and a load, and a switching transistor connected in parallel across the coil, and a control circuit which is operated based on a drive signal. The control circuit turns on the switching transistor of the noise filter in case of subjecting the load to a full-on drive, thereby to short-circuit the coil and to form a power supply path including the switching transistor without the coil. The control circuit turns off the switching transistor of the noise filter in case of subjecting the load to a PWM drive, thereby to form a power supply path including the coil.

  • Patent number: 5574998
Abstract: An automatic frequency control device in which a burst frequency is sampled and held on the output side of an IF amplifier, the held frequency is measured and compared with a preset reference frequency data for obtaining a difference therebetween, and a reference oscillator is controlled so as to keep the difference below a predetermined value, by which the stabilization of an IF frequency and a transmitter carrier wave frequency, both of which are controlled by a reference frequency from said reference oscillator, can be accomplished.

  • Patent number: 5461344
Abstract: A phase lock loop frequency synthesizer is applied to radio communication devices or the like, in order to reduce frequency error at a time of frequency changing, and considerably reduce a frequency changing time. At the time of frequency changing, a first loop filter performs frequency coarse adjustment, and charges or discharges a capacitor in a second loop filter to voltage corresponding to target frequency. Further, a controller feeds a voltage controlled oscillator with a frequency fine control data so as to output the target frequency, and controls a loop filter in a phase lock loop to be switched over from the first loop filter to the second loop filter.

  • Patent number: 5241701
Abstract: An antenna selecting diversity receiving apparatus utilizes linear modulation with information about the envelope of a modulating wave included therein and is employed in a radio communication system using TDM. An integrating circuit serves to integrate electric-field levels received by respective antennas over a predetermined period of time before a start in a time slot allotted to a radio receiver. Then, a comparing circuit makes a comparison among respective time-integrated values corresponding to the respective antennas. In addition, a changeover control circuit serves to select an antenna corresponding to the maximum time-integrated value as the antenna used during the period of the time slot allotted to the radio receiver.

  • Patent number: 5208549
Abstract: An automatic power control apparatus has a level control circuit for adjusting the power level of a linearly modulated signal prior to amplification by a power amplifier, and a coupler for extracting part of the amplified signal. An envelope detector detects the envelope of the extracted signal. A dc component detecting means detects the dc component of the envelope signal. An error amplifier amplifies the difference between this dc component and a reference voltage, and a loop filter filters the amplified difference to produce a control voltage that controls the level control circuit, thus controlling the power of the amplified signal without being affected by ac components of the signal envelope.

  • Patent number: 5107220
Abstract: A frequency synthesizer includes a control circuit which outputs changeover signals for bringing one of a number of filters included in a loop filter into electrical connection with a VCO outputting a desired frequency signal, such that a phase difference signal passes through one filter when a demand for frequency changeover is made, and provides a frequency division ratio corresponding to said one filter to a variable frequency divider and a reference frequency divider whose phases are compared to produce the phase difference signal. In addition, the control circuit successively supplies changeover signals for performing selection of respective filters through each of which the phase difference signal passes, and provides frequency division ratios corresponding to filters tuned to the variable frequency divider and the reference frequency divider to change the output frequency of the VCO incrementally.

  • Patent number: 4893348
Abstract: A power source control device in a car telephone mobile station system where an abnormal state detecting means installed within a body CPU supervises signals transmitted from a hand set CPU, and if abnormal state of the signal from the hand set CPU occurs caused by disconnection of a hand set or runaway of the hand set CPU, a power source control signal is inputted to a control terminal of a power source circuit so as to change the power source circuit from the ON-state into the OFF-state.
