  • Patent number: 8290019
Abstract: A technique is provided that can avoid radio zone interference in a radio controlled model apparatus which employs a frequency hopping system in the spread spectrum radio techniques. In a controller for maneuvering, for example, model airplanes, a process for detecting whether or not a radio zone is in an occupied state is initiated, with an initial radio zone represented by information stored in a nonvolatile memory acting as a starting point. Until an unoccupied radio zone is detected, the process of detecting the occupation of radio zones continues according to a predetermined sequence. Thus, an available radio zone can be detected. Moreover, information representing an initial radio zone, stored in a nonvolatile memory, is updated immediately after power-on of the controller.

  • Patent number: 5764697
Abstract: A radio control device includes a transmitter, in which a crystal type high frequency module equipped with a high frequency circuit corresponding to a frequency band of a carrier and a PLL high frequency module equipped with the high frequency circuit and a PLL circuit for controlling a frequency of the carrier depending on a phase difference between the carrier and a reference signal of oscillator are detachably mounted. Such construction permits the crystal type high frequency module and PLL high frequency module to be selectively used as desired and transmission data to be output by means of the carrier of a desired frequency set depending on the high frequency module.

  • Patent number: 5628631
Abstract: A radio control transmitter capable of preventing a pupil-side radio control transmitter from outputting a radio wave even when a pupil-side operator erroneously closes a power switch of the pupil-side radio control transmitter. The transmitter includes a radio-frequency circuit for modulating a stick operation signal encoded by an encoder and outputting it in the form of a radio wave and a power control section for discriminating which of an internal power supply and an external power supply feeds a power thereto and holding a result of the discrimination therein. The power control section also functions to control switches for feeding the encoder and radio-frequency circuit with a power depending on the discrimination result. A trainer switch is arranged so as to permit a signal to be selectively applied to the radio-frequency circuit 5 from the encoder or a trainer cable.

  • Patent number: 5408689
Abstract: A radio control transmitter capable of selecting function modes of high frequency in use at a simple operation to highly improve the operating efficiency. A plurality of setting switches each are provided so as to exhibit two functions or the function of immediately calling a specified function mode and a normal setting function, which are changed over through a second switch.

  • Patent number: 5408149
Abstract: A power control circuit for an electronic equipment capable of turning off a power switch to prevent useless consumption of a power supply battery when non-operation of an electronic equipment over a predetermined period of time is detected. A counter circuit 25 is reset when a power switch is turned on, so that a main switch is turned on to render an electronic equipment operative. When a signal is generated from a logical circuit detecting auto cut-off conditions, a clock signal is fed from a control circuit to the counter circuit, so that the main switch is turned off by a carryover signal. After the auto cut-off conditions are detected, a predetermined number of clock pulses are counted to cause the main switch to be turned off, to thereby prevent malfunction of the electronic equipment due to incidental introduction of noise thereinto.

  • Patent number: 5280634
Abstract: A radio control transmitter capable of permitting the functions of various function switches to be set as desired through only a simple switching operation without requiring replacement of a wiring. Operation switches and operation functions which are desired to be shifted are selected by selecting switches and data on two operation functions are replaced with each other through two data holding registers, resulting in replacing the functions of two function switches with each other.

  • Patent number: 4954820
Abstract: A transmitter for a radio control system capable of highly facilitating the changing-over operation and constantly exhibiting desired control characteristics. The transmitter includes a plurality of main control elements which are controllable in directions relative to each other about a neutral point and control basic operation of a controlled unit, an auxiliary control element for selecting control characteristics of the main control elements, a first changeover element for changing over mechanically neutral of the main control elements, and a second changeover element operated when specific control characteristics of the main control elements are selected by the auxiliary control element, resulting in setting an electrically neutral point of an actuation section depending on the mechanically neutral point of the main control elements. The operation of the first changeover element causes the second changeover element to be changed over in association therewith.
