Patent number: 5300197Abstract: A distillation apparatus includes a distillation unit for distilling feed water. The distillation unit includes an evaporation part, a condensation part and a hydrophobic porous membrane interposed between the evaporation part and the condensation part, which are integrated with one another. A heating unit for heating the feed water and a cooling portion for cooling distillate produced by distillation of the feed water are provided apart from the distillation unit. One or both of the heating unit and the cooling unit are provided with a heat pump. With this construction, an additional heater does not need to be provided, and the distillation unit and both of the heating unit and the cooling unit can be changed in size and performance independently of each other, so that the overall size of the distillation apparatus can be reduced.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 1990Date of Patent: April 5, 1994Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Kenji Mitani, Akira Ashida, Katsuya Ebara, Hideaki Kurokawa

Patent number: 5021970Abstract: In a robot having a servo control section for driving an actuator, an arithmetic operating unit, memories, and input and output devices, a method and apparatus provide teaching data from one robot to another. First, there is detection of mechanism errors peculiar to a particular robot of interest. Standard position information obtained from the result of a teaching operation and compensation of the mechanism errors of another robot is used with the mechanism errors of the particular robot to calculate the corrected standard position information (teaching data for the particular robot). This information is derived by subtracting the mechansim errors of the particular robot from that standard position information to produce the teaching data for the particular robot.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 1988Date of Patent: June 4, 1991Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Shunji Mohri, Akira Ashida

Patent number: 4531223Abstract: This invention relates to a clock deriving system as described below. At a base radio station, data is converted to a Manchester code and modulated into an FM, PM or AM radio wave. This radio wave is received by the antenna of a radio receiving apparatus and amplified and demodulated by a radio receiver of the apparatus into the base band signal of the Manchester code form. This signal is amplified and sliced by a limiter amplifier and then supplied to a clock derivation circuit where a useful clock component is derived. This clock component is passed through a filter of a necessary clock frequency band, from which clock information is produced. This clock information is applied to a phase detector where the output clock signal from a digital PLL and the input clock information are compared in phase, that is, detection is made of whether the former is ahead of or behind the latter.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 1980Date of Patent: July 23, 1985Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventor: Akira Ashida

Patent number: 4514854Abstract: The level of a received data bit is detected at multiple instants which are determined by a clock signal having a frequency higher than that of the data bits to be received. Discrimination of the received data is carried out by considering the bit pattern of the preceding and succeeding bits with respect to the received data, on the basis of the count number of the multiple instants at which the detected levels of the received data bit fall within a specified condition. The reference level for the level detection at the multiple instants, the gate time for allowing the counting of the multiple instants and/or the threshold count number for the discrimination are altered to surely discriminate the levels of the received data bits.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 1983Date of Patent: April 30, 1985Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventor: Akira Ashida

Patent number: 4426714Abstract: A clock deriving system is disclosed. At a base radio station, data is converted to a Manchester code and modulated into an FM, PM or AM radio wave. This radio wave is received by the antenna of a radio receiving apparatus and amplified and demodulated by radio receiver of the apparatus into the base band signal of the Manchester code form. This signal is amplified and sliced by a limiter amplifier and then supplied to a clock derivation circuit where an effective clock component is derived. This clock component is passed through a filter of a necessary clock frequency band, from which clock information is produced. This clock information is applied to a phase detector where the output clock signal from a digital PLL and the input clock information are compared in phase, that is, detection is made of whether the former is ahead of or behind the latter. If the former signal is ahead of the latter, the phase detector produces "1", whereas if the former is behind the latter, the detector produces "0".Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 1981Date of Patent: January 17, 1984Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventor: Akira Ashida

Patent number: 4159167Abstract: Disclosed is a sound motion picture projection apparatus in which a head pad is urged by a spring member toward a film pressing position at which position the head pad presses a film against a magnetic head disposed along the sound recording and reproducing film path. The apparatus has a set mechanism of the self-holding type which sets the head pad against the urging force of the spring member to a film pressure releasing position at which position the head pad releases the pressing of the film, by the driving force of a driving motor and keeps the head pad to that position.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 1978Date of Patent: June 26, 1979Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kuniyoshi Suzaki, Akira Ashida, Takashi Itani, Tateo Yamada, Masaya Maeda, Kiyoshi Takahashi, Hiroyuki Takimoto

Patent number: 4066963Abstract: The present invention relates to a synchronization system of a cine-projector with a sound tape reproducer. It is characterized in that the phase of a signal corresponding to the film feeding speed of the film projector and that of a signal corresponding to the standard speed coming from the sound tape reproducer are compared with each other so as to control the film feeding speed of the cine-projector by means of the comparison output corresponding to the phase difference. In order to accomplish this, between the driving source for driving the internal mechanism of the cine-projector and the driving member for the internal mechanism, a transmission speed varying mechanism is provided in such a manner that the transmission speed varying mechanism is controlled by means of the film speed control driving source to be driven by the comparison output so as to maintain the synchronized state.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 1976Date of Patent: January 3, 1978Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kiyoshi Takahashi, Hiroyuki Takimoto, Takashi Yamada, Takashi Itani, Akira Ashida, Kuniyoshi Suzaki
