  • Patent number: 8168288
Abstract: In a multilayer ceramic substrate manufactured by a non-shrinking process, a bonding strength of an external conductive film formed on a primary surface of the multilayer ceramic substrate is increased. After a laminate of a multilayer ceramic substrate is formed from first ceramic layers and second shrinkage suppressing ceramic layers, and an underlayer is formed along one primary surface of the multilayer ceramic substrate, an external conductive film is formed on the underlayer. A non-sintering ceramic material powder in a non-sintered state is included in both the external conductive film and the underlayer, and this non-sintering ceramic material powder is fixed due to diffusion of a glass component from the first ceramic layers.

  • Publication number: 20100162930
Abstract: Provided is a solid fuel burner (60) suitable for controlling a flame to be formed by combustion of fuel ejected from the burner (60) and a temperature distribution in a furnace, a combustion apparatus using the solid fuel burner (60), and a method of operating the combustion apparatus. Providing in the fuel nozzle (10) a plurality of gas ejection nozzles (81), (82) and a restriction (obstacle) (19) downstream thereof, and ejecting a relatively large amount of gas from a portion of the gas ejection nozzles (81) provides a circumferential distribution in fuel concentration. Further, having the restriction (obstacle) (19) on a downstream side increases a deviation in fuel concentration. Providing a fuel concentration deviation in the circumferential direction makes it possible to change the forming position of a flame.

  • Patent number: 7066869
Abstract: An automated machine for and the method of fabricating containers made from a cardboard paperboard or corrugated paperboard blank having an inner liquid holding bag secured to the inner surface of the paperboard box. The liquid holding bag includes a spout that extends through a spout opening formed in the paperboard blank. During the fabrication process the spout is utilized to precisionally locate the liquid holding bag so that when the panel of the blank with the spout opening is folded down over the spout, the spout will be properly aligned with the spout opening thus facilitating the automatic assembly of the container. In this automatic assembly process the liquid holding bag is secured to the inner surface of the container at multiple locations such that when the container is opened into its three dimensional use configuration a passage is opened for filling the bag through the spout.
