  • Publication number: 20180241076
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a negative electrode that is for a lithium ion secondary battery, that has high initial charge/discharge efficiency, and that has high energy density; a lithium ion secondary battery comprising the negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery; and a method for producing the negative electrode for a lithium ion battery that makes it possible to efficiently pre-dope an alkali earth metal or an alkali metal such as lithium. In order to solve this problem, this negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery comprises a negative electrode mixture layer containing at least: an alloy material (A) comprising tin or silicon capable of occluding lithium; carbon particles (B); an imide bond-containing polymer (C); and a polycyclic aromatic compound (D). The amount of the imide bond-containing polymer (C) within the negative electrode mixture layer is 3-13 mass %.

  • Publication number: 20180226677
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide a mixture paste that is for the production of a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery, that is not prone to cycle deterioration as a result of changes in volume, and that is not prone to decreases in initial charge/discharge efficiency as a result of reduction of a polyimide during charging. This objective is achieved by a mixture paste for a negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery comprising: a binder resin composition that comprises a polyamic acid and/or a corresponding polyimide, said polyamic acid being obtained from a diamine compound and a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, and said diamine compound comprising a diamine represented by formula (I) or (II); and a negative electrode active substance containing a silicon oxide represented by SiOx (0.5?x?1.5) and carbon particles.

  • Patent number: 6178035
Abstract: An optical device includes a light transmitting non-linear optical material having a first face and a second face. The first and second faces oppose each other. The first face has a plurality of first reflecting portions provided thereon, and the second face has a plurality of second reflecting portions provided thereon. Each of the second reflecting portions corresponds to one of the first reflecting portions. Furthermore, the first and second faces are substantially flat except for at least one convex arcuate portion being formed on at least one of the first and second faces. Additionally, at least one of the first and second reflecting portions is obtained by coating a reflective material on the convex arcuate portion.

  • Patent number: 5728509
Abstract: At least one convex (or concave) arcuate face is formed by photolithography on a photoresist film formed on a surface of an optical device made of an optical material. The surface of the optical device and the photoresist film are etched to form, on the surface of the optical device, at least one convex (or concave) arcuate face similar to the convex (or concave) arcuate face formed on the photoresist film. After the surface of the optical material is mirror face polished, a photoresist film is formed on the polished surface, and the polished surface and the photoresist film are etched uniformly. An optical device obtained in this manner is used for a laser oscillator, a monolithic laser system, a nonlinear optical device, a microlens, a ring laser and so forth. Further, a plurality of reflecting portions are provided on a pair of opposing surfaces of a light transmitting optical material. At least one of the opposing surfaces is formed on the convex arcuate face.

  • Patent number: 5608577
Abstract: The present invention provides an optical mirror and an optical device in which the mirror is capable of reflecting a light beam having a plurality of wavelengths with the phase matching condition required for nonlinear optical materials being satisfied, so that a decrease in efficiency due to the phase difference does not generate even if harmonic generation, optical mixing or the like is performed, thereby improving conversion efficiency. The optical mirror includes a plurality of reflection films, e.g., multilayer films 2 and 3, formed on one surface of a transparent substrate, each of which films corresponds to each wavelength of a light beam having a plurality of wavelengths to reflect selectively one of said plurality of wavelengths, wherein a phase difference adjusting layer 4 is formed between the two reflection films 2 and 3, reflecting light beams having different wavelengths.

  • Patent number: 5430754
Abstract: A solid state laser apparatus is capable of suppressing a mode hopping phenomena by restricting longitudinal modes except a fundamental mode, thereby providing a very stable output. The solid state laser apparatus includes such components as a semiconductor laser emitting a pumping radiation for exciting a lasant material, a lens systems for focusing the pumping radiation and an optical resonator including a concave mirror. The lasant material may be formed of Nd:YVO.sub.4 doped with approximately 1 at % of Nd and a non-linear optical element may be formed of KTiOPO.sub.4 with an inclined c-axis.
