  • Patent number: 10524081
Abstract: A sound processing device includes an equalizer that tunes the frequency characteristic so that a frequency characteristic of the sound wave listened in a second environment replicates the frequency characteristic of a sound wave listened in a first environment. A plurality of the equalizers is provided corresponding to a plurality of sound image signals that has respective sound images to be localized in different directions. In addition, the equalizer performs a unique frequency characteristic changing process to the corresponding sound image signal. Each equalizer has a transfer function that cancels the unique change to the frequency characteristic caused in accordance with the sound localization direction of the sound image signal.

  • Patent number: 9648435
Abstract: Filtering containing a delay by a specific time is performed on one of the pair of input signals are input from microphones L, R. After the filtering, a pair of input signals InL and InR are alternately interchanged for each sampling by an interchanging circuit 2 to generate a pair of interchanged signals InA and InB. The one interchanged signal InB is multiplied by a coefficient m by an coefficient updating circuit 3 to generate an error signal of the interchanged signals InA and InB. The recurrence formula of the coefficient m containing the error signal is calculated to update the coefficient m for each sampling. The pair of input signals InL and InR are multiplied by the sequentially updated coefficient m and are output.

  • Patent number: 9445195
Abstract: Directivity control method and device which can emphasize or suppress sound deriving from an arbitrary direction with a little computation using two microphones closely disposed are provided. An interchange circuit 2 alternately interchanges a pair of input signals InL, InR for each one sample to generate a pair of interchanged signals InA, InB. A coefficient updating circuit 3 multiplies the one InB of the interchanged signals by a coefficient m to generate an error signal between the interchanged signals InA, InB. A recurrence formula of the coefficient m containing the error signal is calculated to update the coefficient m for each one sample. Subsequently, the pair of input signals InL, InR are multiplied by the sequentially updated coefficient m, and output.

  • Patent number: 5492155
Abstract: A wire laying-out apparatus automatically lays out an electric wire on a wire laying-out plate. The electric wire is laid out by a wire laying-out head which is freely moved on the wire laying-out plate by an X-direction feed shaft and a Y-direction feed shaft. A plurality of wire guiding devices are arranged in a linear manner on the wire laying-out head. A selecting device is provided in the vicinity of the wire guiding device. The selecting device selects one of the wire guiding devices. It is possible to lay out the electric wire by lowering a wire guiding device. When the electric wire to be laid out is replaced, the electric wires are not tangled. An oblique arch including guide rollers for guiding the electric wires to the wire guiding devices helps inhibit tangling of the wires. In addition, the wire guiding devices are integrated with the wire laying-out head so that the electric wire can be replaced irrespective of the position on the wire laying-out head.

  • Patent number: 5365659
Abstract: The fabrication of wiring harnesses requires many steps, such as a wire laying out step of laying out electric wires coated with insulative sheaths in a laying out array and cutting with measured length, a stripping step of the insulative sheaths at the ends of the electric wires, a crimping step of pressing terminals together with the bared ends of the electric wires in crimp contact, an inserting step of inserting into connectors the terminals pressed in crimp contact, etc. This system has an apparatus for each step modularized, and a module incorporated in the system can be increased or decreased in number depending upon a type of the desired wiring harness. For example, it is assumed now that a wiring harness fabrication line consists of an automated wire laying out module (1), a stripping module (3), two terminal-crimping modules (5), and a terminal-inserting module (7).

  • Patent number: 5273860
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an information recording medium which is composed of a substrate, underlayer, and recording film and is capable of recording information by means of depressions or pits which are formed on the recording film upon irradiation with a recording energy beam, said information recording medium being characterized in that the recording film is provided with a supporting layer on at least one side of the recording film, said supporting layer having a melting point which is lower than that of the recording film, or on that side of the recording film which is adjacent to the substrate, said supporting layer having a melting point which is higher than that of the recording film. Owing to these features, the information recording medium gives recording pits having a smaller rim inner diameter, so that it achieves a high recording power margin for high-density recording.

  • Patent number: 5251805
Abstract: A wire bonding method and apparatus for welding a wire with at least one end formed with a ball and a pad of a printed wiring board. A bonding head moves downward slowly to crush the ball to form a flat surface, and will move upward once to adjust a relative position of the pad and the ball. The bonding head will move downward again, and an ultrasonic wave is applied to heat the ball and the bonding head so that the ball and the pad are welded. If necessary, a portion of the wire to be bent is moved to a desired position of the wiring board, by a supporting apparatus. A free end of the wire which is not welded is moved by a jig to bend the portion of the wire for routing.

  • Patent number: 5089375
Abstract: In a film forming method of an organic thin film for an optical information recording medium, the speed of forming the film can be increased and the quantity of the waste dust which is produced in the process of film forming can be decreased. Moreover, the ratio of the number of fluorine atoms to the number of the carbon atoms contained in the under layer is controlled to be less than 1.8, whereby the heat resistance of the under layer is improved and thermal deformation of an uneven pattern of the substrate can be prevented so that the endurance life of the optical information recording medium can be prolonged.

  • Patent number: 5073243
Abstract: An optical recording medium is made by sputtering a polymeric material in an evacuated chamber to form an under layer on a substrate having a preformed grooved pattern of prepits and pregrooves, and then forming a recording layer on the underlayer in the chamber continuously after forming the underlayer. Said under layer is made of a high polymeric material which can be melted, sublimated, or decomposed at a lower temperature than the melting point, the sublimating point, or the decomposing temperature of said recording layer. Accordingly, said under layer can relax the thermal shock transferred from said substrate into said recording layer, and the deformation of said substrate can be prevented, even though a laser beam for playback is repeatedly radiated onto said recording layer, and said optical recording medium has a larger recording sensitivity than the recording sensitivity of an optical recording disc of a prior art.
