Abstract: A hinge construction in which a center hinge 14 is provided between seat backs 1 and 2 arranged by being divided into left and right, and the left and right seat backs 1 and 2 are supported by the center hinge 14 so as to be reclinable. In this hinge construction, the center hinge 14 includes a mounting bracket 18 of which one end portion is installed to the right seat back 2, a center hinge bracket 19 installed to the vehicle body side, and a hinge shaft 20 for connecting the mounting bracket 18 to the center hinge bracket 19. The left and right seat backs 1 and 2 are supported via the center hinge 14 so as to be reclinable by inserting the hinge shaft 20 through the other end portion of the mounting bracket 18 and the center hinge bracket 19 and by fixing the hinge shaft 20 to a seat frame 3 of the left seat back 1.

Abstract: A vehicular trunk lid structure is formed by overlapping the end of the outer panel upon the end of the inner panel, to be followed by hemming process, wherein recesses are defined adjacent to the end of said inner panel, and said recesses are deepened toward and welded to said outer panel. By such arrangement, the weld bead due to the spot-welding is concealed inside the trunk room to be obscured from the outside and thus the need of finishing work to remove the weld bead is eliminated. As a consequence, an aesthetic improvement and a manufacturing cost reduction are accomplished.
