  • Publication number: 20140315046
Abstract: Provided are a microbial power generation device, an electrode for the microbial power generation device, preparing methods of the same, an electric power producing method using microbes and a selective culture method of the microbes used for the electric power producing method capable of improving electric power production capacity and of suppressing power generation cost. In a microbial power generation device (1), microbes (reducing microbes) that reduce graphene oxide are enriched among microbes inhabiting wastewater, slurry, activated sludge and the like. Therefore, the graphene oxide is reduced by the reducing microbes, so the graphene is produced. Electrons produced by the microbes can be transmitted to a negative electrode (14) via the produced graphene. As a result, the electric power production capacity can be improved and the power generation can be performed at a low cost.

  • Publication number: 20050048524
Abstract: By using an ITS-DNA hybridization technique, microorganisms being quickly differentiated and identified at the bacterial species level. By applying the principle to DNA microarray, environmental microorganisms are detected and identified. By using ITS-DNA hybridization and by applying the ITS-DNA hybridization technique to the DNA microarray, differentiation at the bacterial species level or the relative species level becomes possible.

  • Patent number: 5699028
Abstract: A surface acoustic-wave resonator filter having improved group delay time characteristics. The filter comprises three energy-confined acoustic-wave resonator filter sections formed on a piezoelectric substrate. The second resonator filter section is positioned between the first and third resonator filter sections. One frequency in a vertical higher-order mode of the second filter section is placed on the lower-frequency side of one frequency in a vertical higher-order mode of the first and third filter sections. Or, one frequency in a vertical lower-order mode of the second filter section is placed on the higher-frequency side of one frequency in a vertical lower-order mode of the first and third filter sections.
