  • Publication number: 20050080181
Abstract: An adhesive composition comprising natural rubber based particles uniformly dispersed in a radiation setting compound is cured by radiation to make a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a substrate, thereby: sufficient adhesiveness is obtained; different fillers sufficiently charged; drying time after application is short; both overall application and pattern application are readily performed; application can be performed on different substrates; and sufficient adhesive strength between the substrate and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can be realizes. This adhesive composition may be manufactured by: mixing aqueous emulsion 31 containing the natural rubber based particles 30 and the radiation setting compound 32; elevating a temperature of the mixture while stirring; removing vaporized water in the aqueous emulsion; and replacing the water as the medium wherein the natural rubber based particles are dispersed with the radiation setting compound.

  • Publication number: 20050077020
Abstract: It is intended to provide sanitary paper which is excellent in texture such as moistness and softness and scarcely causes skin irritation or blushing even if it is brought into contact with the skin frequently. Namely, sanitary paper having an oil absorbance specified in JIS P8141 of 7 mm or less and a moisture content of from 9.50 to 15.00% (measured in accordance with JIS P8127 after conditioning in accordance with JIS P8111); carrying a solution, which contains a moistening agent, a softener, an antioxidant and so on, coated in a dose of 46.0 to 160.0 mg/cm3 of the paper base; and having a bending hardness B measured with the use of a pure bending machine of from 0.0040 to 0.0060 g·cm2/cm.

  • Publication number: 20040234805
Abstract: A sanitary tissue paper roll wherein, when a sanitary tissue paper roll of two-ply or three-ply is laid on a horizontal surface with its center axis in a horizontal orientation; and a circular plate indenter, having an area of 2 cm2 and being arranged at the center of an upper surface of an outer periphery of a body of said roll, is vertically pressed at least at respective pressing pressures of 0.5 gf/cm2 and 50 gf/cm2, a difference in depths upon said respective pressing is within a range of 2.5-3.5 mm. A sanitary tissue paper roll made by winding one sheet or two layered sheets of sanitary tissue papers wherein a roll compressibility of said roll is 0.68-0.74 m/cm2, said roll compressibility being defined as a value obtained by dividing a roll length by a cross section of said roll.

  • Patent number: 5798315
Abstract: A microcapsule-containing oil-based coating liquid wherein the coating liquid comprises a hydrophobic core material-containing microcapsule particles dispersed individually in a state of primary particle in an oil varnish for ink use or a resin for coating use, and a solvent having an affinity for both the varnish or the resin and the surface of the microcapsule wall material in a state of having been attracted with the affinity to both the varnish or the resin and the surface layer of the microcapsule wall material. The preferred solvent is a lower divalent or multivalent alcohol.A preparative method of the foregoing coating liquid by utilizing vacuum distillation is also proposed.A sheet, like a duplicating sheet of paper coated with the foregoing oil-based coating liquid is further provided.According to the present invention, a water-based microcapsules system can be advantageously converted into an oil-based one without coagulating the primary microcapsule particles.
