  • Publication number: 20120183891
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a photomask by which a resist pattern corresponding to a pattern with designed values can be formed, a method for optical proximity correction, and a manufacturing method of a semiconductor device are provided. Proximity design features that are close to each other and estimated to violate a mask rule check are extracted. In the proximity design features, correction prohibited regions where optical proximity correction is not carried out are set based on the distance between the features obtained from the extracted proximity design features and the resolution of an exposure device. Optical proximity correction is carried out on the proximity design features with the correction prohibited regions excluded to obtain corrected proximity patterns. A predetermined mask material is patterned by carrying out electron beam lithography based on the corrected proximity pattern data.

  • Patent number: 8134544
Abstract: In a display device, when a first image is an absolute white image, a direction in which a luminance is maximum is regarded as a main viewing direction for the first image. A luminance Ld in the main viewing direction for the first image in cases where the first image is an absolute black image and other image is an absolute white image, and a luminance Lb in the main viewing direction for the first image in cases where the first image and the other image are absolute black images satisfy a relationship represented by Formula (1): (Ld?Lb)/Lb?2.5??(1). This makes it possible to realize a display device, which is capable of displaying different images to a plurality of different viewpoints and has an improved function of separating the images in the different display directions.

  • Patent number: 8129078
Abstract: A mask having mask patterns for the transfer of a desired circuit pattern, a method for manufacturing the mask, and a semiconductor device manufacturing method using the mask, are provided. There are extracted two rectangular aperture patterns which are adjacent each other in an obliquely disposed state with respect to an X axis in an XY plane. The thus-extracted two rectangular aperture patterns are rotated at a certain angle so that a pattern edge corresponding to one side of one of the rectangular aperture patterns and a pattern edge corresponding to one side of the other rectangular aperture pattern are opposed in parallel to each other. The two rectangular aperture patterns thus rotated at a certain angle are then subjected to optical proximity effect correction to form two corrected rectangular aperture patterns.

  • Patent number: 8031273
Abstract: A first transparent electrode film, which is a component of a SW-LCD for viewing angle control, is used as a touch panel. When a contacting object contacts the surface of the first transparent electrode film, a position detector detects currents flowing from plural parts of the first transparent electrode film so as to detect the contacting position of the contacting object, with reference to the detection result. With this, it is possible to provide a built-in touch sensor display device which is thin, lightweight, and low-cost, a viewing angle control device, and an electronic device.
