  • Patent number: 7824194
Abstract: A case with a connector integrally formed with a resin connector, and can be manufactured with a small number of processes is provided. The connector case includes a housing, a resin connector, and a ground terminal extending along an outer periphery of the connector. A terminal-side fixing portion extending backward from the ground terminal is crimped to or pressed over a housing-side fixing portion. When molds are closed after the housing and the ground terminal are placed in the molds for injection molding of the resin connector, a pressing portion formed on the mold presses the terminal-side fixing portion against the housing-side fixing portion to crimp or press the terminal-side fixing portion to or over the housing-side fixing portion. As a result, in the process for the injection molding of the connector, the ground terminal is fixed to the housing at the same time. The connector case with the ground terminal fixed to the housing can be manufactured in a small number of processes.

  • Patent number: 7347699
Abstract: A contactor (20) has a joint portion (27) which is jointed to each contactor pad (32) of one wiring board (30) by using a solder at one end portion thereof and a connecting portion (24) which is dip-soldered in each through hole (35) of the other wiring board (33) at the other end portion thereof. A housing (1) is constituted by integrally molding a housing main body (1F) having a U-like shape as seen from a plane and a reinforcing bar portion (2) which connects intermediate portions of opposed parts (1A) and (1B) of the housing main body (1F) with each other. Cavities (3) are substantially linearly formed in the housing main body (1F) at predetermined intervals. The contactors (20) are inserted into cavities (3), and the contactors (20) are movably held in the housing (1) with a holding member.

  • Patent number: 6085598
Abstract: A pressure sensor portion having a pressure-responsive element for detecting gas pressure in reference to the atmospheric pressure is connected to a mounting body such as a canister mounted on a vehicle by means of a fragile connecting member. The connecting member breaks off to dismount the sensor device from the mounting body when a high impact due to an accidental collision or crash is imposed on the sensor device, and thereby an inlet port connected to the sensor portion for introducing gas pressure thereinto is prevented from being broken or damaged by such a collision impact. The fragile connecting member may include a tubular pipe formed integrally with a cover that hermetically closes an inner cavity of the sensor portion. A mounting bracket connected to the sensor portion via the fragile connecting member may be used to mount the sensor device on the mounting body.

  • Patent number: 5921685
Abstract: With the size precision suitable for mass production, the time and labor required for running-in of various rotating machine and apparatus such as a gear box with the bearing installed are reduced.A clearance 13 exists between the end face on the larger diameter side and the inner face 7a of the larger flange portion 7 in the state where the end face on the smaller diameter side of the tapered rollers 3 is abutted to the inner face 6a of the smaller flange portion 6. The minimum value of the size .DELTA.L of the clearance 13 is kept up to 0.3 mm. Simultaneously, the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value in the length L of the tapered rollers 3 is kept up to 0.15 mm.

  • Patent number: 5711738
Abstract: In a conical roller bearing for supporting a pinion shaft of a differential gear, the contact angle .alpha. of a conical roller bearing for supporting the pinion shaft is controlled between 22.degree. and 28.degree.; the ratio of the diameter Da of the conical roller at the larger-diameter end face to its length L is controlled between 0.51 and 1.0; and the roller number coefficient k is controlled to range from 1.16 to 1.32. The conical roller bearing constructed thus contributes to better fuel economy on automobiles by fully ensuring the necessary levels of fatigue strength and bearing rigidity and yet reducing the dynamic torque it develops.
