  • Publication number: 20230221023
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an air conditioner with two or more outdoor units and one or more indoor units, which are connected to a single refrigerant pipe in parallel, the air conditioner comprising a controller configured to determine, based on driving performance of the two or more outdoor units, a driving priority order of the two or more outdoor units. The controller switches the driving priority order of the two or more outdoor units between a descending order of the driving performance of the outdoor units and an ascending order of the driving performance of the outdoor units at certain intervals.

  • Publication number: 20230204267
Abstract: A refrigeration cycle device of the embodiment includes an indoor unit, a first outdoor unit and a second outdoor unit, and a control unit. The second outdoor unit includes a four-way valve. The four-way valve includes a main valve having a main valve body and a sub-valve having a sub-valve body. The main valve body is movable between a first position and a second position. The sub-valve body is driven by a solenoid and is movable between a third position and a fourth position. In case in which the first outdoor unit is operated and the second outdoor unit is stopped, when the main valve body is not at the first position, the control unit disposes the sub-valve body at the fourth position and then moves the sub-valve body to the third position.

  • Patent number: 10648718
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an air conditioning apparatus has one or a plurality of indoor units, an outdoor unit, and a controller. The one or plurality of indoor units have an indoor heat exchanger, and an indoor expansion valve in which a degree of opening is variable. The outdoor unit has an outdoor heat exchanger, a four-way valve, a compressor, and a discharge pressure sensor configured to detect a pressure of a refrigerant discharged from the compressor. When a discharge pressure detected by the discharge pressure sensor is less than a predetermined pressure threshold value while a heating operation is performed, the controller sets a maximum time for continuing a defrosting operation started by a start condition of the defrosting operation being satisfied to be shorter than a maximum time for continuing the defrosting operation when the discharge pressure is equal to or higher than the pressure threshold value.

  • Patent number: 4638975
Abstract: A fluid coupler having a female coupling member with an incorporated valve and a male coupling member for detachable insertion into one end portion of the female coupling member. The female coupling member has an annular flange which projects inwardly thereof to define a valve seat and a head portion having a diameter larger than the inside diameter of the annular flange and cooperative therewith to form the valve. A compression spring biases the valve member forwardly into a closed position. When the male coupling member is inserted, the valve member is biased against the force of the compression spring to open the valve and allow fluid flow from the valve into the male coupling member.
