  • Publication number: 20200200888
Abstract: The present invention minimizes the overall area occupied by a reception antenna while preventing erroneous detections resulting from azimuth aliasing. A reception antenna includes antenna elements that are disposed along the horizontal direction, antenna elements that are disposed along the vertical direction, and an antenna element that is disposed at an angle from the antenna elements with respect to the horizontal direction and is disposed at an angle from the antenna elements with respect to the vertical direction. The distance between the centers of the antenna elements in the horizontal direction differs from the distances between the center of the antenna element and the respective centers of the antenna elements in the horizontal direction. The distance between the centers of the antenna elements in the vertical direction differs from the distances between the center of the antenna element and the respective centers of the antenna elements in the vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20200057135
Abstract: The present invention provides a radar device capable of reducing processing load while arraying receiving antennas in two directions. In the present invention, a transmitting unit (transmitting antenna) transmits an electromagnetic wave. A plurality of receiving antennas 108 receive a reflected wave from an object which reflects the electromagnetic wave, and convert the reflected wave into a first signal Sig1. A plurality of receiving circuits 520 are respectively connected to the receiving antennas 108 and generate a second signal Sig2 from the first signal Sig1. A signal processing unit 103 processes the second signal Sig2. The plurality of receiving antennas 108 are arrayed in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction.

  • Patent number: 8477589
Abstract: A optical pickup includes: a laser diode; a driver including a first output end of a laser diode drive current; a first line electrically connected to the first output end of the driver and a first port of the laser diode; a second line provided adjacent to the signal line at at least one location or more and electrically connected to a second port of the laser diode; a printed circuit board including the first and second lines; and a metal heat dissipation cover for the driver. The first and second lines form a two layer structure in which the first and second lines are vertically disposed. The line width of the line provided close to the heat dissipation cover is wider than the line width of the other line between the first and second lines in the two layer structure.

  • Patent number: 8448196
Abstract: An electronic device including a mechanism for changing the relative positions of two circuit boards such as in an optical disc drive is provided. A flexible printed circuit electrically connected between the two circuit boards changes shape to suppress fluctuations in the transmission characteristics occurring due to contact with metal such as a case, and provides stable signal transmission. The flexible printed circuit includes at least one or more differential lines, a fixed unit affixed to a case at least at one location, and a movable unit that changes shape according to the relative positions of two cases. The lines adjacent to the differential line are a grounded surface, and the flexible printed circuit is formed to narrow the distance between the movable unit lines more than the distance between the fixed unit lines.
